  1. If he received notice that you filed a PP dispute, I'm not surprised he has gone quiet. As to speed of replies, remember that China is in a slightly different time-zone than most of us in here............
  2. Once again........ How about a post of the QC pic with the "wonky" clasp issue??
  3. A photo of what you consider to be "wonky" would allow the experts here to help guide you. Doesn't seem like you've given this issue much time to work out before disputing with PP? What did the TD say when you asked for another watch?
  4. What are you seeing? I have had mine from toro for a month or so and am so impressed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  15. It really isn't that bad, as long as you have patience and are careful. I did mine in about 20min, removing 3 links. Definitely need a metal pin pusher as the pins are quite tight. Be sure you follow the arrows on the inside of the band so you push the pins out in the proper direction. Then, be sure to push them back in the other way. Whatever you tap them back in with, be careful as the link ends will mark up easily and the pins can bend easy. A plastic faced hammer for the last couple of taps in would be ideal. Just take your time, stay calm and don't whack the hell out of it in frustration! ;-)
  16. My personal opinion is that it's unreasonable for the TD to ask this. As a newbie (which I really still am as well), asking this forum for help with QC pics is invaluable! The experts in here can pick out problems in a heartbeat that I would never catch. I say post them if you want........
  17. If you spend a few minutes reading through the new member section here, you'll see that members STRONGLY recommend sticking with the trusted dealers lists on this site. Going elsewhere, you are on your own. If your "friend" is looking for a beater, I'm not sure why he'd be interested in spending $1000 - $2000, when the Trusty Time version is quite nice, with the gold plating at $200 - $400. With the TT plated version as a beater, the clasp plating will quickly wear off as mine has, even with a desk job. The rest of the watch looks fantastic though, but I'm out doing physical labor with it on. My TT Sub keep s perfect time BTW......

  20. I've been eyeing this Chronomat B01 for months now. It's more "glitzy" than my usual interests, but I found myself drawn to it over and over again. I finally pulled the trigger after checking with Andrew to be sure it was available. July 2 evening --- Placed order and PP'd the payment July 3 --- Tracking# & QC Pics received and approved. July 9 --- Snapping the photos below after receiving it this morning! One week from order till receipt. OUTSTANDING! I do wish I were as good as some other members at staging photos and providing pics of better quality! Watch is all I'd hoped for. The leather band and clasp are a bit stiff. Hopefully it'll work itself in with some wear-time.
