  1. It is of my understanding that the bezel teeth on the TC are too shallow? However, i have a superfranken 16610LV with TC bezel and i dont think its that big of a deal... Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk

  11. Sooo... If i should stick with non-gen parts... Should I go swiss, Goin/marlin-modded asian or even Goin/Marlin-modded swiss? What is most cost-effective/reliable? Thanks for your opinion!
  12. Well, thats kind of what I'm asking, should i go with the swiss or modded goin/marlin? To start with. Feels unnecessary to buy it, wear it, send it to modder, wait, receive it, wear it when i can just buy the modded one directly, without the hassle. But i do understand what you mean, absolutely. Unnecessary to go high-end as a noob. However, I want to go high-end right away as i've been spoilt by my franken rolex watches. Soo.. if someone please could give a guiding light in this endeavor, that'll be great!
  13. Hi guys. I was planning on acquiring a 111N to frankenize. As far as I've understood from my research, the 111 is pretty much a super rep out-of-the-box. However, a great base watch is important if I'm going to franken it(thinking about gen dial and hands, maybe AR the crystal). However, I have a few questions. 1. How big of a difference is gen crown/V3 crown? 2. How big of a difference is there between a stock swiss ETA 111N V3 from Toro and a Goin/Marlin modded one? Which is favored? 3. Is this a good idea? Best regards and thanks in advance, Rikard, rolex-franken-geek wanting to try out a PAM!
  14. Hi! Want to PM you an offer for one of the franken speedmasters. Your inbox seems to be full. PM me! ;)

  15. Here is my Kermit! Specs are: Genuine crystal (no LEC/AR) Genuine crown Genuine tube Genuine LV Dial TC DWO(perfectly centered, pics taken at an angle, if it looks like its riding high) TC bezel assembly WM9 LV insert with gen pearl TC hands Re-shaped, Polished Case(WM9 V3 with engravings removed) Fresh Swiss ETA Gen 93250 clasp, TC links and endlinks. All mods/frankening done by Ssteel. After seeing all these beatiful vintage pieces i feel like a vintage piece is the next watch... Arrrgh this hobby.... Never enough haha

  17. Would maybe be a service provided by one of the trusted dealers?
  18. Hi! Recently bought a frankenjust from the US, I live in Sweden, and the seller sent it as "goods repaired". Now the swedish customs want proof of this repair and I have contacted the seller(mrnemo) and I think it will be sorted soon. In midst of all this I figured, if dealers here can offer triangular shipping, why is there not triangular shipping for private sales? Or is there? Would make buying smooth sailing, especially if you wanna avoid taxes or other customs problems... So anyone know? All the best, Rille
  19. Paco Rabanne a million is my signature scent. Have rocked it for years! Great.
  20. Checked it out and "men pen" seems pretty reasonable... I mean, if you have a huge blemish in say, your forehead, and there is a simple way to hide it ( i mean, blemishes doesn't look too nice), why wouldn't you? Cant see why. Its ridiculous to say what people should and shouldn't do based on your own habits, it is the 22nd century after all... Should all women wear skirts as well and all men should wear suits like it was the 40s? Come on guys.
  21. Living in sweden, I'ts pretty cold... so from approx. october to march i wear almost exclusively RM Williams. Black leather or Brown suede depending on the rest of my outfit.... Real infinity shoes, my father has had his for 7 years with regular upkeep and they are still in great condition!
  22. Even in white gold, 67k feels a bit excessive... Hell, you can buy 2 white gold daytonas for that price! Or two white gold subs! Or one of each!
  23. would probably be cheaper to build a vintage daytona.... then you can have valjoux 72 movement,, considerably cheaper than the zenith 400 and the PN's are way classier! cheaper and more readily available aftermarket parts as well! gen parts not so much... hehe
  24. I wear it so i can fit my little finger between my wrist and the clasp! not too tight, not too loose in my opinion. Unless you have a day date, then you wear it with AT least two fingers between clasp and wrist
