I woudn't worry till at least wednesday or thursday of next week. Although she shouldn't have told yout that she'd send you pictures if her plans were to go on holidays the next day! keep us informed.

I agree.. it looks great on Wheaton's wrist, but my wrist size is more similar to Cardshark's (i've got a 6.75-7in wrist), although Cardshark's wrist might even be slightly smaller than mine.. i can't imagine wearing anything that wears bigger than my DSSD. In all honesty, i hated the watch when it first came out last year.. but after seeing it soo much this past year.. It's REALLy grown on me! The only thing now is whether or not it would fit my skinny ass wrist!

hahaha.. OJ will never ever redeem himself.

Josh: Delivery to EU via UK - anyone tried that?
plaifender replied to Whatever123's topic in General Discussion
He should use the same tracking number.. you don't get 2 tracking numbers. The only thing that should change is the site that he uses to track. -
Maybe you've got a knack for tinkering! haha Cheers and congrats on the 177, i've got one on the way, hopefully mine doesn't come going 48 minutes fast per day like yours! In any case, mine will be getting a servicing to ensure longevity!

sure he was scammed.. Any website that says the watch has "japanese" quality is a scam site. Plain and simple. Regardless of whether or not youreceive the watch. If you pay too much, receive low quality goods, or are deceived into thinking the product is something it is not.. it's a SCAM!!!! -

No it's not normal to get a new tracking number. Once the watch has arrived in German custom, tracking information will be unavailable on the royal post website, you will then have to input the tracking number into the german post website and it should work. At least that's how it usually works here in spain when I get something shipped. I track on EMS, until it arrives in spain... then once it arrives in spain, i can track on spanish post -
No idea.. just found the cheapest one that would ship worldwide. I buy pretty much everything from Ebay anyways

amazing watch.. precisely the reason I don't get it.. is it's size... It looks absolutely huge on your wrist!!!

You stretched the mainspring????? The asian 6497 is fine and should run just as well as the highbeat or the swiss. It's a fine movement with servicing and shouldn't be any better than the highbeat version from what i hear. The fact that you're sticking screwdrivers into it, and stretching out mainsprings doesn't sound like the brightest of ideas. Here's The Zigmeister's review on the movement itself in question: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/77692-movement-review-asian-6497-2-216k-bph/page__view__findpost__p__485667 If you're set on getting a swiss 6497 be prepared to have to put down the bucks pretty soon, because at the rate your going.. the current movement you have might fail at any moment given the things you've been doing to it.. If your watch stops running pretty soon.. now we know why....

why not ebay. I buy mine from there. Even including shipping the deal works out well. Last time I bought some I bought 5 packs for $27 total shipping included. (each pack has 2 cloths). At the time it worked out to less than 4€ a pack... (the dollar was super weak when i bought them).

Swiss Watch Industry Using Replica Website As Decoy ...
plaifender replied to wheaton26's topic in Name & Shame
No surprises here... The ever ending fight..... Replica production can't and NEVER will be controlled, if someone gets shut down.. someone else will open up. We've seen dealers, manufacturers and collectors come and go in this game and that aspect of the game will never change. The internet is too big and people are too smart for the swiss watch companies to win this war. Battles will be won and lost, but in the end, the war will always continue and they'll always be someone to buy from Kind of like the "war on drugs" -
You should probably never really "stick" your screw driver into any movement. If the watch is new, I'd speak with the dealer. If you plan on getting the watch serviced, it's probably nothing a good service won't fix. Getting your watch serviced is highly recommended whether it's come with problems or not, it will guarantee that your watch will keep running smooth for years to come. Avoid sticking anything else into your movement without the proper tools. You don't wanna fudge it up more than it's already fudged. my .02cents

welcome to RWG. Do your research and you´ll be just fine. Chances are, your tastes will also change as you learn more about different models. I was set on a Rolex Yachtmaster when I was a noob... I bought one.. and now its my least favorite watch! I keep it for sentimental value but barely ever put it on! -
so did you polish this yourself? never seen these for sale at my local breitling dealer....
-
OOOOOOh!! doh! hahaha.. yeah I love to see the date.. but not on a pam.. I think it takes away from the simplicity of the dial!
-
spectacular
-
awesome! Didn't know that gen bezels were compatible on these. Functionality the same? bezel held by screws??
-
The date?? hahaha.. You can't be serious! Been here for 4 years..and never before has a specific DATE been given about the release of ANY rep.. I mean.. I'm just saying... I hold my breath when the factories get crazy and give us a month window! (and then i pass out)

My latest The Zigmeister Project watch. dont know what to call it.
plaifender replied to a topic in The Panerai Area
looks more like a PVDed 286 right? I heard there's some new 286's coming out with same quality as the 253.... anyways.. I think you should defniitely leave the rattrapante out of the name for 2 reasons: 1. The dial says flyback 2. No rattrapante button GREAT lookin watch though! -
