I have the prototype from the factory, but is a little bit too short when assembled to watch .. So I have to re-send them the glass sample so they can correct the dimensions! another member is also organizing another group buy from another manufacturer, but his glass is more expensive (he's quoting $169 i think) Which is just WAY out of my price point... I have not set a price yet, but mine won' pass the $ 120 mark. The most important thing for me is that the crystal be affordable, and worth its price. Greetings from Madrid,

Es que no hay un cristal zafiro que se fabrica para el 212 y nunca ha habido.. La verdad es que es bastante jodida la cosa! Los dealers no nos fabrican un modelo con zafiro! Si esperas un par de meses... yo estoy organizando una compra conjunta para un cristal zafiro para el 212 y el 253. de todas formas.. ya tengo el prototipo de la fabrica, pero queda un POQUITO demasiado bajito cuando montado al reloj.. Así que me toca volver a mandarles el cristal de muestra para que corrijan las dimensiones! hay otro usuario que también esta organizando otra conjunta de fabricado por otra fabrica, pero su cristal sale mas caro... The general consensus about reps in china seems to be that it generally is not a better deal to buy them there. especially being a westerner. The price for your (let's say) UPO will end up being more or less the same as if you bought it through one of our trusted dealers here. Haggling won't work, since by the time you get to the little watch stand and wait for them to get the "good merchandise" from the back, they know they can sell the "good merchandise" for a certain price online.... Which is what they tend to prefer. You have to remember, the watches we buy are coming from the places you're going to in china. They know exactly how much a new PAM 111j is worth, since they're often the ones with websites up! In any case, good luck, there's always the possibility that you'll find a steal!

So this was sold to you ON OUR forum as a gen?? Did you buy it without seeing pictures before? if so, is it the same watch that was shown in the pictures you based your purchase on?? If you were swindled into buying a REP thinking it was a gen.. it´s absolutely unacceptable on this forum. If i were you I´d contact the seller first, and then the admins accordingly to try to resolve the problem. I´m no expert on tags so i cant tell if it´s rep or gen.. but if it´s a rep, there´s no excuse!

(it just sounds a little haughty for someone to say that, after willing spending over 800usd on a rep.. and not a franken one at that.. ) In any case.. I´m sure you´ll enjoy it. Make sure you get some QC shots before shipment. cheers

If he does find one with a swiss movement. Expect to pay close to $800usd. Not worth it in my opinion.. Even if you do get a swiss movement, you better make SUREEEE you get it serviced. Just because it's swiss doesn't mean it will run any better, especially coming from China

Can anyone confirm authenticity? price isn't bad, but it's definitely seen better days!
