  1. Yes, I'm fairly positive you can have it repaired for less. Contact Francisco or Domi here on the forum. They're great watchmakers. They can give you a more definitive answer
  2. Yep, crown tube and crown from either Offrei (in the states) or Cousins UK watch shops. Some Araldite epoxy and a good vice Don't hesitate to ask me any questions by PM
  3. Here ya go. any questions, feel free to PM me: Parts list is here: (you need the tube, and the crown) You can get a new ETA 2824-2 stem on ebay for cheap about between 1 and 5 dollars for a signle stem: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=2824+stem&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=
  4. double.. But I don't have the watch yet, It's on the way! I'd have to see results and pricing though
  5. The glidelock extension can be removed and the clasp will remain functional?? i think i'm confused
  6. Never gotten a watch in 5 days. Most of our watches are coming from east asia not southeast asia, maybe that has somehting to do with it. I have had watches shipped to atlanta, and had to wait 2 weeks from Andrew
  7. The stem is the piece that inserts into the movement through the case. Did you lose it?? It's late, but if you do a quick search of my posts, you should see me giving install advice to about 3 other people over the last 2 or 3 weeks. The modification is the easiest mod known to man.. It sounds complicated, but it's not. Buy a new tube, Crown and stem from Ofrei or Cousins UK and the install takes next to nothing. You need Araldite epoxy and a good vice or clamp to put the watch in overnight while the epoxy sets.
  8. Don't forget the black with yellow needles!
  9. I do the exact same thing as Jkay "view new post" and open every post in a new tab in my browser.
  10. any news on when these are gonna go back into production?
  11. Ok replicamovement.. So you do realize that: A.) I'm Right about the shipment. There's NEVER a rush in the replica game. So just relax. You're not going to get a watch expedited to you overnight. B.) Double posting is not necessary. I noticed you just opened up another thread asking the exact same thing....... You're not getting ANYthing for at least 3 or 4 weeks, so just relax and figure out what dealer you'll be buying from. I'm sure Josh or Andrew can get it to you in a reasonable amount of time, just don't count on getting the watch super fast.
  12. Cool Rep. I'd say that it's probably not a DLC treatment, and probably just a general PVD treatment. The watch is not "gun metal" enough to be DLC. Looks pretty cool though. what's that mark between "6" and "9" in the six oclock subdial though?
  13. Well.. I can tell you right now that you won't be able to get a watch shipped over night. Tomorrow most of the dealers should be back. As I said.. I don't really understand your dilemna.. most dealers are still answering emails, and Today is the last day of the holiday anyways... So.. you'll have to wait the normal time like everyone for a watch if you order it tonight (1-4 weeks).
  14. Welcome on board. Next stop: Extreme debt! Dont hesitate to "shout us a holla" if you ever need anything. (another member famously coined the term, but unfortunately doesn't grace us with his presence as much as he used to ) Have a look around and enjoy the pictures (we all know that's what really brought us here)
  15. Before the chinese new year ends? Why do you need the watch before tomorrow? Chinese Spring festival ends today
  16. Looks great overall.. apart from a little slight gapping between bracelet and lugs. I can never get over the fat hour marker rings though on the ultimate:( Happy with my Trevor 2010 V5 That's really strange about your diver extension slipping out. I don't see how it can happen with the glidelock system.. since it really doesn't allow anything to get past the teeth with the lock is closed... Can you take a picture of the bracelet clasp in closed and open positions?
  17. Cool watch. Not a daytona fan though! The tudor dial colors on the other hand.. amazing
  18. Incorrect... What you posted is NOT a UPO lite.. This is a PO lite.. Notice the incorrect HE valve placement and short hands. The ULITIMATE PLANET OCEAN (UPO) Lite, has been out of production for 3 years or more now. It was quite popular as it had the same case structure and AR as the UPO.. but with an Asian 21j
  19. Correct. The complete title of your watch in correct order is: Breitling Avenger Skyland with Gray Dial. The only other "model" that is produced under the Skyland sub-model is the Breitling Avenger Skyland Blacksteel. You'll hear many people refer to it as a Skyland Avenger on the forum though.. even though.. technically the avenger line should come first
  20. How much do these watches cost?? I imagine hundreds of thousands or something obscene like that. I love the rotating cubes. engineering novelty
  21. You should add to your list of top mods.. Crown and tube... Since this is the most functional part of your watch, and the rep part that is most surely to fail after some time. I'd also venture to say that the crystal is a much more important mod than the dial. Hands are certainly last.. as the difference is neglible visually and obviously negligible functionally speaking...
  22. I think we have a guru in every worldly subject on this forum
  23. YEs you're referring to the oh so famous UPO lite. Were only produced on a very limited run. I thought the movement was a 2813..not that it matters anyways
  24. Great looking watch. Congratulations By the way, the model of your watch is the SKYLAND Avenger to be specific. Definitely in the Avenger line, but there are several different avengers out there Looks like a V1.. correct?
