  1. Which blacksteel model Astro? There are already extensive reviews on the Skyland Blacksteel....
  2. Contact Offshore. his webshop: http://watchbitz.com.au/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=259 Best starter tool kit available. Might want to also get a HORB caseback remover ball as well. (available on ebay)
  3. that almost doesn't work maxman.... I'll let it slide this time Broken= non-functioning Broke= without money
  4. The difficult thing with watches is getting all those huge pieces into a case the size of a large coin
  5. p.s Thanks importr. So do you use the same principle to get the bezel back on the watch?? I can't imagine exerting so much pressure on the strap and spring bars to get the bezel off. I can just imagine everything flying everywhere the way you described getting the bezel off....
  6. I was thinkning the same thing. Biggest annoyance about my SOSF is the rounded lume dots i have. I can't think of anything on my skyland Blacksteel. The bezel numbers on my V2 looks excellent
  7. No DSSD's that I know of are offered with Mineral Crystal. But don't hold me to that. To my undrestand the only difference in the $88 version is that it possesses the 21j movement.
  8. Congrats mastrmind!! Here's to 1,000 more!! You can now be cristened a veteran!
  9. I think we saw the same bezel! looks like it's probably not worth my trouble. Hey importr, do you have a bezel remover?? if so, which one do you have? I hear it's absolutely necessary on breitlings, as using a case back knife to pry the bezel off only results in a lot of pain and bent metal
  10. Hey Nikki.. You're right. Taka actually has quite a range of acoustics, going anywhere from $350- $3,000. Funny story behind my Takamine: I saved up all summer my sophomore year of high school to buy a $300 Takamine cedar top cutaway. I went to the store, bought it for 300 bones and played it on and off for year. A couple years ago, I was thinking about selling it, since it got no real playing time. I went on Ebay to see what I could get for it, but realized that over the years I had forgotten the model number. I look in the soundhole and find the model number, type EF-261san into Ebay's search bar, and the results I got were astounding. EVERY single guitar was well over $1,100usd used!! I was so confused. I went back and found the receipt from 1999 (I keep all my receipts of "big" purchases) and it turns out that the music store sold me the wrong model GUITAR for $300!! They gave me a $1400(new) guitar for $300!! Needless to say, I decided not to sell it, since it's very unprobable that I'll ever be able to afford one again!
  11. Welcome to the jungle bro. Get to readin and then get to buyin!
  12. Wow, SWEET! So you're taking request????? How about one of each model Josh has in stock!!!???? I'm interested in quite a few watches at the moment that have yet to be reviewed to my knowledge. Here's a short list of watches I'd love to see reviewed from various brands: Audemars - Skeleton Tourbillon - Titanium ROO Secs @ 12 Panerai - PAM 286 (someone mentioned you're not a PAM guy, but this watch just came out this month) Omega - NEW UPO with corrected logo (a couple pictorials. NO breakdown reviews yet) - Michael Schumaker edition Speedmaster Rolex - Deep Sea Sea Dweller V6 (not sure if josh has them yet or not) Oris - Carlos Coste - TT3 Zenith -Defy Extreme Just a few off the top of my head Some of these watches had had some pictorials.. but no in depth reviews that I can specifically recall
  13. Always have my 120gb Microsoft Zune on random. The last thing I listened to tonight getting off of the metro was K-Os: The Man I used to Be
  14. What movement does the watch have??
  15. Screw the vintage... out with the old.. in with the new. hahaha I agree that you shouldn't get rid of the SOSF, but a DSSD is just so substantial on the wrist. it's hard for me to say a vintage Rollie would be a necessarily "better" choice!!!
  16. +1 to eagle scout. I'm an eagle scout as well, and the feeling of getting that pinned on me after so many years of work and achievement really felt good. Not to mention knowing my eagle scout project was finally completed!!! Go Eagle scout!
  17. Guess that depends on what you're in to hahaha
  18. I've got to disagree with Madred. Although it might not be necessary to get the watch serviced right now, you shouldn't wait till something goes wrong. A proper service will guarantee that this watch ticks for years to come.
  19. Hey Sandelman... I think we're still pretty friendly.. next time give us more than 45 minutes to respond to your post... One thing that HAS changed in the last 4 years is our community's size. We're over triple the size we were, and the post count is really incredible, and sometimes the information to sift through is just time consuming. With regards to your question. ALL of our dealers carry the chrono fighter, and from what I understand, the grahams for the most part come from one factory. The watch should set you back around $300 if I recall correctly. Good to have you back, and good luck
  20. Congrats. Can't wait to see the pics. Francisco or Domi can service it for you. Francisco doesn't do Relume except for simple dot markers. A few spanish modders here do an excellent job on Lume. Francisco can probably point you in the right direction as far as Lume jobs
  21. Have you ever had sex while taking a dump??? That has to be incredible!
  22. Why would you even RISK buying from another dealer? Honestly.. Be our guest. You don't buy from a site because they have the watch you want. You buy from a site because they're trusted. PERIOD. Email some of the dealers hear and see if they can get this watch for you. In all honesty, I wouldn't expect ANYTHING very good for the price that they're asking for that watch anyways. An Oris Carlos Coste is around $300 new, can't see how a good replica of the pro Diver chrono can cost less than half that. Don't trust the site.
  23. Cool! That CEO looks like 34 ! I need to change careers and become a CEO
