In my quest for the hottest extreme food experience, I must admit, this is teetering at the edge of the cliff for me personally. At least natural Bhut Jolokia sauces still retains personality with a residual roast pepper flavor; whereas, even though they are using natural peppers for extraction, these pure capsaicin extracts have no flavor, no soul, and only burn for the sake of burn. I'll probably stop the Scoville Scale climb now. I'm amazed that there are even hotter sauces & pure crystals (LINK LIST) up to the top of the Scoville Scale of 16 M units now available as makers challenge each other but, instructions are to use as an additive to make sauces (in other words.... dilute, e.g. 1 drop to 30 quarts), so really its pointless. I'd say in these pure extract forms, undiluted, it would render any food inedible with dubious bragging rights.

He was a guy from Toronto, Canada, probably still is........maybe Dave123's neighbor. He was pretty prolific on the rolexforums.com, up to 2,265 posts, but you'd have to join to research further, not interested. He is not the same 19 year old black dude of the same Daun Waun Facebook page. Besides, Jetmid was just fun, Daunwaun was just an A-hole genuine watch guy snob.

Ah, but you can give the guy credit for trying his hand at several avenues. Carwrapping, bannersigns, lighting........Check what he left up on MySpace over 2 years ago, lots of info and photos. Interesting thing happened since I posted this, over at RWG1.1, Dingle posted a youtube video from the Kansas City Trend Site with James in it. Immediately the video was pulled from youtube, makes you tend to think he's still lurking. If the stuff starts getting pulled immediately off of MySpace and the Facebook changes quickly, that will cement that theory.

As I get older I like to keep my research skills honed so I thought I'd tackle Jetmid once again for nostalgia as the really, really oldtimers of around 2005 would always wonder what happened to James Dearth. Having saved my previous research of Jetmid's outrageous braggadocio postings on other websites of the same era, I had his profile and background down pretty tight. So four years have passed since my last investigation, and now that facebook is the new norm, its also a great place to mine info. First to take you back to some of my previous research I'll pull up two very old posts: December 3rd,2006 December 15, 2007 Okay, his brother is Chad Dearth, owner of KC Trends Motorsports in Kansas City. (Chad Dearth's Facebook) James' birthday makes him 32 now, he graduated 1998 from Shawnee Mission North High School, Kansas City. (James Dearth Facebook) You will notice on both brothers' facebook pages, they have matching interest, namely KC Trends, and they are both listed as friends on each other's page. It would support his claim they are brothers. Now what is James Dearth's listed occupation today? Fry cook at McDonalds............... I would like to advise not to hound the guy, he never did come back after the famous thread he instigated and I believe he has paid his due enough just in karma. Well, that should do for another few years gents.

Sadly, some spines are still needed.

I've posted this old pic before, but of the three, I seem to wear the Luminox Field Watch the most as a daily beater. To me the Pam is dressier, the Glycine is my travel watch. I too like the all stainless steel look obviously and with that look it can worn casual to dressy no matter what the watch brand or model.

Subbie, Seagull's had one out for years. A bit more floral though. I agree with that Hublot though, a very nice skeleton design in a bigger case. I'd buy it if it wasn't branded.

Just beautiful Richard! Admirable project.

The picture in the original post is a 15 watch leather roll case sold by www.internationalwatchman.com. Cost is $15 USD and they will ship internationally. The inside looks like this.

My condolences to you Ken. "Two thousand years will soon be gone since God looked down in love. There in the town of Bethlehem a Rose began to bud. It lived to bloom until one day was crushed with awful frown. And then in love from God above Was moved to higher ground. There had to be a Rose to live and die among the thorns." - Mark Bishop (Centergy Music / BMI)

Well, I was wearing this 'ol pocket watch conversion, which I guess will give you a clue which smiling, shade wearing, white shirted, grey haired, wine drinker is who. Really true, there is so much more to RWG than watches.

Hey guys, Jeff g is visiting Maui this week, so he and I had a real long 2.5 hour leisurely lunch today at Leilani's on the Beach in Kaanapali. Lots of wine and lots of really great talk about philosophies, histories, what its like to be senior citizens and talk about not watches, but of some of our favorite forum members. Some of you certain members' ears should be burning today! We were both members at the beginning of RWG back in 2004 and gone through similar experiences of horological maturing since then. What one thing stands out, we would not have the pleasure of meeting all these members face-to-face if it had not been for this wee forum for replica watch hobbyists, how it sucked us in with the fun and camaraderie of unseen faces on the other side of the screen and held us there for years, even when we fade from the hobby itself. Jeff g is really a fascinating guy, good company, and pretty much the same age, so as old guy conversations go (besides the obligatory old guy health maladies that plague us), we tend to veer off on a lot of tangents. We both salute RWG even though a lot of oldtimers have gone by the wayside, just to let some of you who still remember us, we are still around and kickin'! Aloha.

Have been using finasteride (Propecia) for 7 years since my hair started thinning from age. I'm 63. It stopped the hair loss immediately, but at this late in the game, it did not regrow very much so where it thinned out on my crown and temples, its still thin. The conversion of our testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the cause of all our hair loss, some have genetic makeup that makes them more prone, earlier, of having better DHT receptors on their hair follicles or to having more natural conversion to DHT. Finasteride blocks the testosterone conversion to DHT, however, it doesn't lower your testosterone levels, age & genetics does that naturally. The longer the hair follicle is bombarded with DHT, it eventually gets to a point where its irreversible and no longer will produce, no matter what you throw at it. I'm not sure my libido was compromised since I started using finasteride so late in life that I could, just attribute it to aging (gracefully). The days of waking up with a morning boner are long gone. Saw Palmetto is a natural herb that can supplement the finasteride, and in combination would seemingly help. But the side benefit is, (besides stopping my hair loss), is I do not suffer from common BHP (enlarged prostrate). Finasteride is one of the drugs used to shrink the prostrate. Taking a small dose daily for the last 7 years has kept the natural prostrate growth, common for all men after your mid-50's to late 60's, in check. My doctor stated yesterday at my exam that I have a teenager's prostrate, small and not like an old guy. So no getting up all night to go pee. Too much info here, but it is food for thought, there is some health benefits for seeking vanity.

Really drooled over Richard Lawton's 911. Appreciated seeing a few vintage, among the break-the-bank Porsche owned by the membership. Here's one of my Sunday drive standbys, 1992 factory cabriolet Roadster.

And officiating was Darth! Too cool..............so on your 50th Wedding Anniversary it will be trying to remember "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." All the best to you and your bride. I thought in Norge hair buns were required for dress up, glad they weren't, she's lovely.

Can you say "Jetmid" please?

Any one seen this one yet? 4 belt treads driven by microprocessor motors. 2 hour battery life but can be charged wirelessly. At $15,000 USD, a very expensive toy watch. The video of it working is at their site. "www.devonworks.com"

Haven't been around for months (life has gotten in the way) and just noticed I need to answer Redwatch. The clock didn't garner any awards since they weren't giving out any, it was just an exhibition of what you can do with trash. I've since changed the main 5.25 drive with bigger & longer orange hands since my wife complained she couldn't read it across the room. To let you know how ancient I am in tech years, notice that the circuit board has "Compuserve, Inc." stamped on it. A leftover of the original mother of all forum services when the only way to hook up was phone modems and everything was text only, I used to manage the hard site here on Maui. Glad you enjoyed it. Over & Out

Was it a "YES" watch TeeJay? Because I've owned one of those for 4 years and they just upgraded the movement for me about last year. They have several models which might match your description but mine is a "ZULU" titanium model. Now back to the "mechanical" moonphase discussion, good topic Gran!

Truly amazing footage. A boat is a hole in the water where you pour your money and that has got to be a loads of anxiety for some of those owners.
