Good grief, Vic. Do you spend half your day managing your Panerai straps? I know strap sellers who have less!
I would love to show you mine, but I'm still waiting for my custom straps from HK Tan. 2 1/2 months and running...
I like all gold watches. Here are two of my favorites:
Yes, the subdial spacing is incorrect, but it has running seconds at 9:00 and I went for longevity over authenticity.
Good SS has it's place, but it is very common. It seems that everyone, and I mean everyone, wears a SS watch.
20-22cm. I prefer 22 because I like to wear my watches out on the base of my hand rather than on the end of the wrist. 20cm fits snuggly on the end of the wrist.
Who said I haven't? I get flamed all the time, I just don't care!
Posting in a new forum means starting all over again as a noob. You feel like a freshman in high school. I'm riding the other one out, to see what happens.
Always good fun!
I shoot watch pictures with two cameras.
Nikon D80 with a Tamron 90mm macro lens. I picked the lens up for $300 shipped from Adorama.
Here's a small example (High ISO):
(See the QC speck at the top of the dial?)
A Fuji Finepix F11, mostly for wrist shots:
The D80's pictures are quite usable up to 1600 ISO. I use DxO to clean up the noise if it's too noticeable.
