  1. I am in FL. Where about are you? My girlfriend's close friend married someone that was not from the US. I will ask her. I think you two may have no choice but to consider marriage. You can get legally married now, then have the big to-do grand wedding that all women want when the time is right for her. I'm not exactly sure, I will ask, best I can do. Best of luck to the both of you love birds.
  2. Not too much to ask Ken. Done.
  3. Or be the big man you came here to be and Pony up some pics of your A+++ Swiss TT sub. From there, sit back and watch the expertise on this board teach you things that Montres Rolex S.A would be hard pressed to do, with two weeks and a panel of certified experts. You won't! No one cares about you or how much you make, just like all the people you can't muster up the balls to say you "care" about in your job, because its painfully obvious you lack the humility required to succeed in life, no matter how many degree's you say you've earned.
  4. This coming from normally very polite and forgiving members. I say post pics of your Rolex or ban! Let the masters here go to work on you like you did to that guy.
  5. If I woke up tomorrow and was the only person alive on the planet, I would go get an enzo, or McLaren F1, and head to Sebring, stopping at the jewlery store to pick up something for my wrist. Probably just a sea-dweller or something given my current mood. I would drive that Enzo until the tires fell off, with not a soul to see. Then take a final dip in the ocean with my sea-dweller, all alone. Then probably shoot myself with a Springfield pro-shop .45, but thats not the point.
  6. I'm not Veronica, relax.
  7. CGJ Seriously how dare you man? Do you not know any better? Have you no shame? The TT sub is not $6K, it's $8,000! Your post however, made me spat my diet green tea on my AR coated glare screen at work. I guess its just funny to read, when you lay it all out nice and simple for him like that.
  8. To say there was anything about this watch I didn't like would be completely nit-picking, because if I saw it as a passer by in person I would love it. Its simple, which is Panerai at its best.
  9. I agree with you also Robertk, Joshua has been great to me as well, no question about that. Like I said though, "I didn't just make this shit up." But I will not get into it any further then I have already, out of respect. I enjoy RWG and prefer to bring a positive attitude here then get involved in any drama if at all possible. I just want to share my enjoyment of the hobby with you guys.
  10. When I said we are 1-2%, I was being generous. How many people that post here on a daily basis really know whats going on? Maybe a few. Who really knows? About 25% of this community is actively buying watches, the rest, some of which are great people, are mixed in with (as it has been seen) people that bicker, pick fights and bash dealers. The dealers that do the most are the ones that don't come here because of the agendas/bashing. If you were on a constant defense from being bashed, would you come? We aren't the driving force behind this hobby like people think, thats all i'm going to say. This isn't some shit I just made up.
  11. Maybe it is just a few watches, but unless we all missed the memo, our "collectors" have RETAIL sites, and we pay RETAIL prices. I'm also willing to bet, the majority of their customers are not buying 20 watches a month. This board makes up for 1-2% of their sales. We're small fish. Ive stuck with my initial collector since my first purchase, and every one since. I hate complaining. I hate feeling like the only time I talk to my collector is when something is wrong. I send referrals, I stay loyal, etc trying to build a rapor, just like Jawo and the rest of you probably do. Do you know who I am? Do you know who the people I refer to you are talking about? Do you care at all or is it wasted effort? I'd rather be told "Just want to keep things business" or something, then be blown off on an off-topic statement during communication. The cold shoulder hurts more then watch problems. I can't just forget all the good service. We as consumers typically seem to hold onto the bad service and forget the good as it suits us at the time. But... everyone reaches their limit eventually
  12. 177H from Joshua. I ordered without swan, but got one anyways. Your experience may vary.
  13. I would love to buy more gens, and will when more important things are sorted. I wear reps because I have to, but I would still want them even if I could easily afford the gens. I like both.
  14. The jury's out on your post. Comes off sort've bigoted. So, back at you- Your from the US I bet.
  15. Coming from you that means a lot Robbie. Something else to consider: As in the case with the SFSO, are they going to leave AR coatings off of the asian versions but include it on the "swiss"? I see this as a potential way to persuade people to buy the swiss versions at a higher premium. As it stands, I assume the ETA's have dried up and anything I buy from now on to be asian copies. Thats fine, but im not paying $200 more for what boils down to AR. I'd rather send my watches to one of our AR coaters here.
  16. Jeez Stephane, nice gen. SS Sub is never boring for some reason. I've noticed that if I put it on for a day, it winds up staying on for a week.
  17. Asian SFSO has no double sided AR. Wouldn't say better in this case. Also, my swiss version has a genuine swiss ETA, per a longtime watchsmith, and meets all of Chris's criteria/photos. Call it what you will, many people did not get what they paid for. To think this isn't going to be heavily discussed here, or be upset that it is seems silly. Isn't that what we do?
