Huge Pitino fan too, even read one of his books, but never thought Louisville really had a shot. Anyhow, I'd love to see Nova go to the finals - I love the way they're playing and actually think they have an outside shot but it's a tall order. NC is tough this year and Roy Williams has redemption on his mind. Whatever happens though, the final is shaping up to be a battle and should be fun to watch!

Very nice, of course... You're motivating me to take some pics of my now completed franken. Having seen all three baton variants in person, I prefer the black by a fair margin but the white is sharp and looks great with the Pro2.

I agree. The jury is still out until better pics arrive, but my initial reaction is: Goofy Looking!

Need some better pics. Not so sure the "bigger everything" is better. Interesting though - if they're already switching back to the arabic numerals, this is going to make these baton dials rare limited editions!

Oh ye of little faith!

Now I really want to say genuine after having a better look at the subdials... But something about those 12,3,6,9 markers just looks odd... like they've been removed and reinstalled or something. I don't know. It might be gen but it isn't what I'd call mint condition. The edges sure are rough too. Tough call. PS - The SWISS MADE on my V1 are centered under their markers, but this dial has them right justified. Not sure if some gens had it this way or not... But the subdials are the biggest tell I've seen on 3717s, and these subdials look better than any rep I've seen.

Throw in a can of Hamm's and it doesn't get any better than this!!

I think its fake. The sub dials don't look deep enough.

I've heard people love those Bergeons with the rubber grip. But the Horotec bearing is still nicer.

Hmm knock-off Horotec screw drivers.... I know there are plenty of knock off Bergeon products out there. But this looks pretty convincing. But I suppose they could have copied everything down to the wood box with spare blade compartment. Hmmm..... very tempting still. I hate my screw drivers.

The Zigmeister did my "1st gen" 3717 marker thinning / reluming and I couldn't be happier. It's a shame that it has become problematic, but I know I wouldn't want to be providing that service if I were you, RG.... My lovely Ziggified 3717:

Hehe, it actually kinda reminds me of an Omega bracelet. Like the older moon watch style bracelets.

My son has been wanting this watch, and I've decided to get it for him for Easter. Haven't found it on Josh or Andrew's sites, so I'm going to buy the gen. The real question becomes... should I mod it with chieftang AR?? What do you think?

@By-Tor that Ebel does look sharp with the suit cuffs. I agree. Unfortunately, I'm not too crazy about how any of my sports watches look with suits. For those dressy occasions, I'll pull out the FM Conq. And if I ever get the white dial VCO back in to one piece, that would work also.

Sorry to hear about it, Rob. I'm familiar with sudden tragedy, and it certainly changes you forever. But thankfully time does heal and life carries on. All the best, B.

The yellowish one is not gen IMO. The white one... I could go either way. But the more I look at it, the less confident in it being gen I am.
