If you like it go for it. However i do wear all my stuff in rotation so nothing gets to much exposure. I also treat my gold stuff with Renaissance wax regularly to give them some little protection. The quality does vary but some of my gold plated watches are four years old with no signs of wear. Very few have signs of wear except where they might be damaged. Be careful buying second hand as people do not always disclose any damage. Unlike stainless steel reps if there is damage you cannot repair them by rebrushing and polishing.
Yep Sead sourced this one for me, he put it on his website also after as he knew he might have a few customers for it It is not the best build watch in the world and the crown can drive you crazy but I would not part with it. The bracelet is an 18k overlay that I picked up and really nice and comfortable to wear.
