Richard the dealers interchange the descriptions all the time. They may advertise A2824 and it is actually a an A2836 and vice versa. Essentially the difference is a 2836-2 handles the extra Day / Date complication unneeded in a sub with a date only complication. The Asian clones of the two are equally reliable. I would concentrate more on reading the difference between the VRF and the ARF and not worry about the movement.

What is that? I am in Ireland I never saw it. If it is the thing I am thinking about, ie a big fiery ball in the sky, I heard it can burn you alive. Be careful.
