  1. Ohhh those are just the tip of the iceburg..got any from AIG ?
  2. I'd have it serviced if it's a keeper.... that way you'll have no issues for the next 4-5!
  3. Another former sharkie here...we shall see though... I want a BL at some point
  4. The Bergeron tool is one of the best...expensive but worth it!
  5. Joey, Don't worry...she's single (from what I've read). Robbie- I agree with just about everything you're saying re ETA vs others... I know people that have had great luck with the PO chrono and a few that have had issues ranging from minor to...very major. Also- we've got to skype at some point next week and discuss that Venus thing regarding the Portos.... looking like a no go, unfortunately, but a sweet little Venus chrono regardless
  6. Excellent tutorial! Thank you so much Fransisco!!
  7. Mmm I think there was another thread on this a few weeks ago... oh no that was a calibre 3135...
  8. SMC has it right...I also have the 2255.80 (same one he has) and I absolutely love it. I posted a review and some shots of it here http://www.rwg.cc/members/Gen-SMP-pictoria...iew-t89451.html I don't know if you're going for new or used but either way they're a fabulous value. I have the 1120 based 2255.80 as shown in the review and the 2280.80 2500C based and I love them both. I'd say pick up a used Seamaster that's a few years old from a Tourneau if you can negotiate a good discount (and get the 2 year warranty) or pick one up online for less than 1500 and you're square. I personally agree with Fidestro on the movement but haven't had issues with the 2500 at all...runs great! I don't like the PO at all...I've owned two UPOs (modded) and a gen 45 mm PO and I personally don't think it's worth the price at all. I will say the new 2280 with the applied markers etc is very, very nice at that price point and it really does go with just about everything. Feel free to PM me if you have any other q's.
  9. Wow that watch is AMAZING! I love the way the lume looks against the dial and I'd humbly suggest doing the tip of the chrono hand in Ferrari red +SL and maybe the "ball" at the bottom of the the chrono subseconds hands in red? Or the tip? Idk you're the expert!!
  10. Low beats are def. still made esp. for some of the Hublots...

  12. Robbie I said something almost exactly like that a few weeks ago at a bar and about 8 people just went "Oh...uh...OH...wow...never thought of it that way"... very true
