  1. Gotta say that I'm not a fan but I could see others falling in love with this
  2. @ Dani... Do you REALLY and truly think that there are too many humans on the planet? Regarding your statement that you'd rather more air, water..etc.. I'm sure that you must realize that 3/4 of the planet is made up of water, that there is no shortage of air, and that humans are part of "nature." Here's one for ya? What if one of those "additional" billion people discovered the cure to cancer? Or a way to mass produce cheap synthetic food and save all the fuzzy puppies? Do you think that you deserve to be here more than one of those "additional" billion people because of your holier-than-thou attitude? If technology was gone, what would happen to the scientists and processes that go into making balanced dog food? What about vaccines or heart-worm pills? What if the cuddly doggies couldn't eat IAMS because the technology wasn't there and suddenly decided a young child or someone's infirm parent would be tasty? Quite honestly, if you think there are too many people on the planet, should we get rid of some of them? Would a truly hardcore animal lover kill themselves so that there would be fewer humans on the planet and so that dogs could live more harmoniously? The whole attitude is absurd. I agree that consuming a canine is disturbing but the only reason it is disturbing to most people is because of the cultural attachment many Westerners have to domesticated animals. For you to sit on your throne and dictate why an entire nation and race should change established cultural practices, then deride anyone who DARES to disagree with you, is arrogant and foolish. And to seal the deal, I'm eating a delicious piece of prime rib I took home earlier from a VERY nice steak house (which I drove to in a technologically advanced car, built in an Asian country, covered in leather AND wood, and running premium gas) ... delicious. Ciao, Shundi

  4. My gen SMP is somewhere between here and Switzerland because it failed its pressure test on the bench (I wanted to have it checked out before I spend nearly a month diving with it this summer) so I can't compare it but I'd say that the SMP looks to be gen.

  6. You two were at the Natick Tourneau! Sweet, I was there literally 4 hours ago (my hometown is close to Natick...) and I love Tourneau's selection. I've always dealt with the tall bald guy (Muhammad) who sold me my gen Seamaster. @Urabus- Their vintage rollie selection was amazing...this month they're having a big "trunk show" where they're selling over 3 thousand vintage / pre owned omegas, rollies, etc... might be fun to check out (you'd have to call the store for the date)
  7. Rob, I had no idea that things were this drastic... I think I speak for everyone who's done business with your or interacted with you on the forums when I say thank you so much for all you've done and thank you for what you'd given both individual members and the forum as a whole! I wish you the best! ND

  9. I love this watch! I PM'ed Andy about it when I was contemplating my purchase and he told me just how amazingly close to the gen it was. It's stylish, flows beautifully, and is one of the most amazing reps I've ever worn. I traded it along with a few other watches for a certain Rolex but I'll be purchasing another one soon!

  12. /invisible To Secret Society Members: It has come to my attention that subject designated "anton" has been sticking his nose in places it doesn't belong (no "thats what she said" jokes please) I recommend sending the team of cannibalistic midgets to have a "talk" with him down by the East River. Please arrange a "meeting" AQAP! /invisible Hm that's weird anton...we'll have to catch up sometime! ND
  13. When I shipped some pieces to Canada my local post office informed me that watches are not allowed to be imported under "most circumstances" without a declaration of the full value of the goods. I was instructed to write "Watch Crystals for Return/Repair" and mark it as "gift"
