  1. Can you tell me some more about this? My dad owns a longines 1915 trench Watch movement all stamped and all original parts, the same movement they won 6 Grand Prix and Watch is stamped with all the cities they were won in, I’ll see if he will let me dig it out and get a few pictures
  2. I do love the look of that dial! What a bloody gem
  3. I have a loom kit but I just wasn’t to sure I wanted to keep the hands as they were a little tatty, the 12 marker I may do! Good shout!! There’s a little step sequence I made, oh and some more of my small vintage omegas ???
  4. You know what I never even thought of that ? thank you very much Cheers mate, yeah I’m really enjoying it here. Not been on any forums before and I shan’t be joining another, it’s good here. I did put put new pins in the bullet strap to tighten it as it was so stretched, apart from that just took it all apart and put it through ultra sonic cleaner and it came out gorgeous, was in a very bad way. Also I think I like that the marker is missing, it’s clean with a patina and the watch is over 60 years old it’s good to have a few war wounds! Cheers guys again
  5. Would any of those be for sale ?
  6. Me old mans 52mm solid silver u-boat 117 of 1000 pieces, so big on the wrist and that little 1974 seamaster which I refurbed and rebuilt which is a beauty This is my fave small watch I own so far from perfect I brought this in pieces and the only thing I couldn’t source is the 18k gold 15 minute bezel marker but I love it!!
  7. That’s a lovely little collection there (Pumpkins I mean!)
  8. I like that! Got that classic seiko diver look! Same shape as my blue lagoon turtle I’ve got, that orange looks the nuts! Like a giant sun in the middle ??
  9. Some people would go to extreme lengths to totally rob someone, shame
  10. My dad picked one of these up in a pawn shop, for 2400 no box just got slammed in something they had out the back I guess, but if you want to keep such a piece for self satisfaction who needs the box right? Pawn shops can be a thing of beauty if your in the right place right time
  11. Maybe without OMEGA written across the dial, as if it’s not a statement Watch without it
  12. Does anyone have a link to a sight where I can find a 5513 dial with a gentle patina or know of any users who could possibly help me out, cheers Rep dial may I add
  13. My old man has always told me if I can’t get the real thing don’t get it at all. Him being an avid collector. Since joining this forum I have been showing him the quality of the watches you boys are turning out and modding! Long story short I’ve just showed him this post, he loves the Watch, and has just brought one! ? he’s come to the dark side enjoy the Watch!
  14. That’s some serious beauty going on there
  15. “Soon to have mods” That red bezel assembly is gorgeous @nuvolablue1
  16. Perfect I’ll give that a go! Cheers boys Also, I wouldn’t mind changing the dial, I may leave the case shaping for time being, don’t feel confident doing that myself, crown certainly change, and bezel I’d like to age, apart from that I want to try and give the Watch my own wear and tear, I have a Swiss eta I am going to replace for the 2813 And this stops it from rattling also? How do you wash the strap after application
  17. Will the baby oil just make the strap look stressed, if so will that work for the body of the Watch?
  18. What will baby oil do for the strap! Great help! All noted!! Cheers bro
