Soon, I'll be getting a rep DJ 16200 with the shitinerand engraved back on it, those supposedly fit so I'll try it on a gen case and let you know if it works. I guess thats not much help since I don't have an extra one, but maybe you'll know what to look for/not to look for

Sorry, but you can't remove the bezel without ruining it. They are tight little buggers on the noob factory watches. Impossible

Wow this thing looks good. Would look great in TT So the GMT has a 7mm triplock now? I didn't really care for the 6mm as it seemed too small for the watch especially with the fatter CG's

I love it, print the patent sheets and take those in! This is sounding expensive, perhaps he was speaking generally, "heck, I can make a whole case" out of machoism or something, and not making an offer out of practicality. Can't hurt to call though.

I guess I will ask him what the tolerances are. It's a hassle already with him being in TN and I in IL. But he'll look the other way. I don't want to be going around asking shops to copy a trademarked piece if I don't know them. How does this masterCAM work? do they have to "draw" it or something? A pal of a pal so to speak owns a big machine shop in TN, and thinks he can make them. Is it that easy? Give him a gen case and bezel and get a 1:1 case copied from him? This guy seems very confident, all I wanted was to get my case machined to fit a gen bezel, and he mentioned if he had a gen case he can just make a whole one. Didn't tell me how much though. I don't know how CNC is done, or what has to be done to copy a watch case, but if it is easy, why dont the rep factories do it? They say gen used as example, then the CGs are way off. Dont they somehow scan it into a computer and then the machines do the rest? Should I try it? What would you say is a reasonable price?

Sometimes I see this guy's stuff selling for top dollar. He's the one that had the 1680 caseback go for a few thousand last month. There was a topic on that too.

Corgi- I use NOD32 with bittorrent just fine. You should look in to getting peer guardian though, as long as you're not using Vista. PG is an IP blocker that helps protect you from being noticed by the RIAA and such. Then again, can you get sued for downloading in Canada?

If someone ever did that to my little sister (or daughter if I ever have one) they wouldn't ever make it to court. I hope that btch gets her ass kicked in jail. She deserves it. This is one of the cruelest things I've heard of. It was just malicous. An adult doing that to a kid. Almost as bad as sexual assault.

I might bid on it if I can get him to accept a return if it's not gen. Sub cases are few and far between and a transitional is even more hard to come by. Only acceptable dial for this case would be a gen also. If I were to win this, it would be a long term project.

So what do you guys think? I think probably not. Would be nice to know as opposed to think. I think I want my next one to be a more modern version with the rehaut engraving/no holes. A gen solid gold bezel would really do the trick.

I sold and traded a few things to people in france, on one occasion, the stuff arrived, on one the stuff disappeared and the 3rd is looking like its going to drop off the face of the earth soon too. WTF. No replica items or anything like that, just some hands so whats the problem? The "tracking" shows it was accepted at my PO for the 3rd one, and the 2nd just shows "label printed" Who do you think is messed up? Laposte or USPS? BOTH?!!? I don't want to have to start going UPS to France as well as Italy, but will if I have to. I do not ship w/insurance either, since for what I'm selling, I would have to lose 1 out of 11 international packages just to break even, plus actually take my a$$ to the post office. Not really worth it unless the 1:11 ratio turns to 2:3

Looks good dude. Does it taste better when it looks better? J/K I have a cheapo espresso/cappucino machine, usually I'm too busy to make the stuff anyway. Lots of clean up and prep. I do want to try the kopi luwak, or "cat sh!t coffee" but I don't know where to get the real stuff for certain, and that stuff is repped almost as much as rolex. My favorite coffee is trader joe's winter blend. It has red and black peppercorns, cloves and cinnamon that gets ground up with the beans. Perfect. Smells great when grinding, brewing, brewed, and tasted great. It's off the market right now and I am looking for something similar. It sure beats the vanilla, hazelnut, etc which is basically coffee with fake flavor added to it. Trader Joe's is more natural if you will and beats all that fake stuff hands down.

I'm not going to go for it. It's been over 24 hrs and no reply from the seller, and freddy says the band looks suspicious, and I dont want a jubilee anyway. I would have just listed the band back up, but not if it means risking selling rep stuff as gen on ebay. Someone at work has a pie pan dial datejust, it has the jubilee on it and is super flimsy. Really stretched out too. If I wanted I could take the caseback off w/o removing the band thats how loose it is. Those old bracelets really are different. It actually feels fake if you don't understand it is vintage.

I have to order some hands for the 4813 that I'm getting from ajoesmith soon, but I don't want to order the wrong ones. I know the sizes, but when I look on jules borel, I see all this stuff about cut to length? Ya I think I'll pass on the cutting, thanks. Is there any better way to get my hands on some....hands?

I asked the seller of this item (ebay #290227613887) the ? already, but no answer yet. It might be a 1501 case b/c of the caseback, but if I remember correctly, some other models came with casebacks that said a different model # than the case? So if it is a 1501, is that the midsize? I know they are 2mm smaller than the 16XXX, but would they look to small on a man?

Do any of you guys ever have anyone, co-worker or otherwise reading over your shoulder? There's one guy here who comes in and always comments about what I'm looking at on the computer. Its annoying. He's very nice and kind and been here like 20 years so I don't want to be a d*ck and snap at him, but it does get on my nerves sometimes. A few people pop up with questions when I'm on lunch and browsing ebay or here, and give me the "oh, you like watches" question/statement. Why can't you people mind your own business? Maybe I should start looking at some kinky or wierd stuff and see what they say.....

Went to the MB store a few days ago..... Now a little disappointed. The gen has Mont Blanc engraved on the side, the rep "meisterstuck" It's either a big oops or maybe they recently changed it. I believe I do recall seeing meisterstuck on the gen before, but now I am not quite certain.
