Seeing that my dog has run off 4 times today, and I keep finding myself racing around on the golf cart looking for him, I decided to strap on my DW 6263 to calculate lap times throughout the neighborhood. This is what constitutes a "neighborhood" around here:

I just want to make sure this is gen before I unload it. I have no reason to believe it isn't but I don't want to sell anything as gen when it's not whether accidental or otherwise. What do you think it's worth? I saw one on the bay that looked better (less faded and more evenly faded) go for $355 last week Thats just glare on the side by the 18 BTW. I can't get a good angle that doesn't wash out part of the blue right now. It's pretty even all around.

So it's kind of a gimmick? It just appears that way it must be. I did notice a difference between them but couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe I assumed the shiny ones were just higher end. I'm going to keep calling them shiny too. It's like 1 step away from a mirror sometimes. Side note, I am picky about unwanted reflections. I threw out my glasses because I could (barely) see a reflection of my eye on the inside of the lens. It drove me nuts. Big eyeball staring at me all day. I now walk around squinting when necessary and am perfectly content.

I work on a loading dock for the Midwest's largest pet wholesaler. I can't get promoted because I work for family and I should be grateful, or be happy to help or something. Plus I'm the best they ever had. Just like the old saying "Don't be irreplaceable, if you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted." I'm going back to college in January, and my decision is not being supported, but actually being treated as if I told every one to F off!!! I don't hate my job, I just don't want to work there.

I see quite a few of you have some tech jobs on this board, maybe one of you can explain this to me. All of the new TVs, plasma and LCD, and new monitiors for both laptops and desktops have that shiny screen on them. Why? It is very annoying. Is it just some kind of trend or is it useful? I hate it. I watch TV on my plasma and I see myself watching it on the dark scenes. WTF. I can't stand it. I want to put AR on my freaking TV. Chieftang, whats that going to cost? Its 54" so maybe the same as 500 crystals? Luckily I bought my monitor right before this craze started. Can someone explain this to me so I can see what I'm missing here?

Did anyone tell that eliteist bastard to take his eliteist butt off the rep boards, buy a gen and move over to TZ or TRF? I heard the ceiling is higher there, and you can hold your nose as high as you want

Thanks fellas. I will not be getting the 15xxx case then, since I have a dial and band for the 16 series cases. I guess I better get on the bay and find a case now.

Never timed it, but the gold one looks alot smoother than the silver one. I think the gold is 28.8, because next to my 2836 it looked exactly the same. the 21.6 one was choppy-er.

I need to get another case, and I don't know which case to get this time. I want a two tone case. I know if I want to use my 2836, I need the 16013, and if I want to try the DG4813 I can probably use a 16233 case. What are the 152XX cases? Are they the same size, or are they mid size or something? I have about half of what I need to get it going, dial, band, and movement. Probably will need an older style clasp for oyster. Anyway, I like the higher crystal on the 16013, but the band will have SEL's, which I can change I guess. Before I pull any triggers though, I want to get some info on the 15200 series cases. I know nothing, so any info would help. Thanks

Thanks 1 I have is on 1 line, up to 300, and the one with 2 lines goes to 200. What is the difference? Is the 1 line supposed to be for the newer zenith daytonas? Oh wait you mean the 2 line up to 200 is correct, right? Thats the one I see on your watch. Beauty BTW

Just go my Sports chrono from josh today. I was excited to get this one in. I tried the gen on the 4th of this month, and loved it. It has been a few weeks, so my memory isn't too sharp, but I don't notice anything that stands out. The weight and feel are great, the finish is great, and its solid, and makes little noise when moved around. The dial looks awesome, its a sparkly white, hard to explain and I can't capture the sparkle in the pics. I'll keep trying though. After reading the reviews, I thought that the greenish tint on the lume would bug me, but lo and behold, this is pure white. Just like the gen. AR is there, but not sure if it is very good. Maybe just turns the reflections blue instead of natural color. I'd send it to chieftang, but afraid I'd get addicted to the service and spend all my money on AR. I haven't opened the back, I don't see a need to, I'll just have to trust the pics on the dealer's website. Unfortunately, I can't find any decent gen pics to compare with, I don't trust ebay as a source, thats for sure. Last thing I want to do is compare my rep to a rep. Well, here's the pics.

How did that affect the reliablility? Suppsedly the eta clones are supposed to be ok.
