Well you're right. It is a tool watch. It's a diver's watch, more functional than flashy. I respect your views, to each his own. I personally love the watch, I have a highly modded ZPO, probably the only of it's kind and a daily beater I wear. Like Andreww, I wear the beater doing every and anything and I usually wear the ZPO when I go out.
I went through this same exercise. I have a Speedy Moon Watch with the handwind movement. It's the same movement in my Broad Arrow. They both had the same transparent caseback. I found a member selling a moon watch with a crappy asian movement and faux chronos but it had the solid caseback. I bought it for $60 and put the caseback on my Moon watch.
I once wore a watch for a week and tracking still showed it being held at customs. If you're talking USPS, they are the worst when it comes to updating the tracking.
Welcome to our little slice of watch heaven. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home. I've been to Denver and Colorado Springs, both real nice cities. I enjoyed seeing the Rockies and Pikes Peak.
I'm no Rolex expert but you want to look for this: See where it says 300m and beneath that CHRONOMETER? The "m" from 300m and the "M" from CHRONOMETER should line up with the "m" on top obviously. The better reps like the Noob are perfect in this sense so you can't only go by that but this one is WAAAAAAY off.
He used to frequent these boards and yes everything he sells is genuine and yes his prices have gone through the roof. I bought a gen fiddy movement from him a couple of years ago, I shudder to think what he would want for one today.
Oh we've all been there a time or two. Don't give up hope though, I have some reps that I can't seem to break even if I wanted to. Excluding the sledgehammer of course.
