  1. Nice conversation so far As far as I know the pam369 hasn't been repped as in a good replica. For the similar models there are extremely good reps of the pam288 and pam214. Those are very good models. I myself had the 288. But you won't find them for 150usd. If I may be frank, if you are looking for a good rep, then 150usd won't do it. Better save up to models around 225 - 250, then you will have very good panerai reps as well. You will love those a lot better than the 150usd stuff. Quality wise also a lot better. For the up to 150usd in terms of quality I'd rather advise you to choose seiko or something instead of reps for that money. could take a look here: http://puretime.co/category/radiomir-chrono/ http://puretime.co/category/luminor-marina/ Good luck!
  2. To Vlydog, can you please contact me by PM, seems your inbox is full. Could not sent you a message...
  3. THAT is a heck of an AWESOME piece. Very well done. Like the bead blasted case as well! Congratis on a great build! I suppose you won't keep it on a standard rep rubber strap. What strap choice do you have for it?
  4. What strap you will use/buy for the pam177?
  5. Too bad to hear something bad happened to your crystal... And yes it is possible, with help of diamond paste and some elbow grease. You will be needing several sorts of diamond paste for polishing and around 0.5-1h of hand polishing, f.i. while watching tv. I did it and it worked. Bought my stuff from eBay. There is some info here on the forum on how to use the diamond paste, just use the search function for that. Good luck! succes ermee Harm!
  6. Nice Nice Nice, reading all the vintage 300 projects with great enthusiasm. Hopefully I will be able to start a project after some time! Great work guys
  7. That shortlist will become a lot longer over time, guaranteed! Succes met de hobby!
  8. @ sagat: indeed you will probebly only find rep straps. There are several good strapmakers from Thailand, also on the rep boards like repgeek, RWG (here), wrist-check, etc etc. But most of them don't have a store front since their customers are worldwide. And most straps are customs made on order... If I was to be in Thailand, I was going to enjoy the country and not looking for rep straps
  9. It is normal and actually quite good for a replica.
  10. All those yellow ones kinda suck. If you figur that the hour hand is luminous and the yellow minute hand totally is not, which looks very weird and 'fake'
  11. Replica shoes most often do not have the same quality as the gen, just as with rep watches. For obvious reasons...
  12. Please report to Ebay and also try to get his ip address from your gmail account. Maybe eBay can block that ip address for future ebay accounts...
  13. ehm... don't really understand the assumption based premises of high end pam reps having to be 400usd... Where you looking for specific models like chrono, base, automatic or other? There are many extremely good high end reps around 250usd more or less these days. Not like around a couple of year back where only for 450usd++ good (modded) reps were obtainable... good luck finding the model you want!
  14. The best dealers you will find here on the rep board. You could always of course organise to ship the watches to person you know in HK, and thus minimize the risk of customs of sending the stuff through EU customs...
  15. Well, this was the old and former discussion about the value of good bright lume. Arguments were that the lume was worth more than gold for the same weight. Other arguments were that the replica factory workers would steal it. Blablabla.. The recent releases from the H-factory with models like PAM026, PAM212, PAM253, PAM288, PAM219, PAM177, PAM005 just proof that good lume does not have to be expensive anymore. So the question of paying a bit more is not relevant imo. Just the other factories should be able or be willing to find a good supplier of good lume, same as the H-factory uses...
  16. I bought one from 'the watch boys' on ebay. Worked like a charm on the 177
  17. LOL, this is so awesome. I have seen many many pictures of watches the last couple of years, but this belongs to the most interesting of them!! Thanks!!
  18. Looks like its suffering from same problem as the 219 and 005, crown too close to the case. No easy fix here, because of the dlc coating.
  19. LOL. Are you really serious? Just 4usd difference? Same model buddy!
  20. Great write-up! I enjoyed reading all three of your SM300 threads, read them like watching a favorite movie. It is my favorite Omega watch from all times. Just too bad the genuine is just so higly sought after and thus expensive...
  21. Was a standard crown used or an aftermarket one? Seems a bit thin and not sharp edges. For the rest, great looking watch!
  22. Very nice straps on both the 288 and 212. I have the 288 in similar style with Teddy French Ammo. And thinking to get the 212 as well and really like your strap... Do you also have pics where the real color of the straps etc can be seen?
  23. @momo650, I would not directly send it back to the dealer, because it does involve a slight risk of chinese customs and shipping risk. When a screw down crown does not easily screw in, it could also mean that there is some dirt or small steel dirt inside the crown. Most often that can be easily solved by a local watch smith. So if I were you I would first try that before sending it all the way back. Small problems, arrange locally, big problems, send back to China... Good luck!
  24. No branded tourbys from Millionsmart usually go for around, give or take, 550-650 I believe. spending 1500 on that radiomir lookalike seems like a bit too much.
