  1. Pulling through again R! Good stuff. How did you end up coming across your part?
  2. Does it need to be the ETA footprint and hand size?
  3. Aaah...Kenny Loggins...if that doesn't date that movie...nothing will...
  4. I wear my white dialed Spitfire. I love that watch on a brown strap...very good for being sporty and dressy at the same time. Your Discovery of course...is excellent.
  5. How does that digital display/background work? It looks like mechanical hands to me...I don't know much about the line...in fact nothing!!
  6. Oy. That sucks. A couple options. Try Peter (Watchstation) and Silix. The next option is to ask your dealer if they can repair the watch. It has the usual risks of shipping back to China...but that might be the other option...or possibly going the gen IWC part.
  7. Great stuff. But don't you find it lacking when there aren't little quality, or reliability things you can complain about?
  8. Too much free time?? Or too much time diverted from our employers' productivity rosters?
  9. And I don't have the funds available that would not be an insult to the effort to make such a beauty. >sigh<
  10. Not really. The ETAs are much quieter. The A7750s are noisy too...but after The Zigmeisterification...like butter!
  11. I wish I could outbid you on this one...but I know I don't have a frozen chance in Anchorage of beating the King of Snipes.
  12. True. I just want one ceramic rep in the stables. I'm not a big fan of the Top Gun branding though. Too much Tom Cruise to have on one's wrist...not enough Kelly McGillis.
  13. I figure, there are only a few more recent models that have the rolling unique serial numbers. For any of the pieces I have, I know they're reps...and there's a distinct possibility that the serial will be in circulation outside of my wrist. In the case of older reps...this is almost guaranteed. I'm not worried about anybody having copies of my serial numbers as I think only my Skyland is actually unique...and even that I question.
  14. Amazing. That is a fantastic effort...and a beautiful project. I definitely missed the updated posts of the more recent pics.
  15. Skyland AGAIN? Don't you have any other watches to wear? It's gonna be at least another 2 weeks at this rate before you get another piece on your wrist to add to the list. It's a looker...that's for sure!
  16. 2667840 That's on my IWC Spitfire with the 3706 back. I'll add the others when I get them.
  17. Make sure to add the vendor's name to the scam list.
  18. WOW. Good deals. Hmmmm...what are the odds the new ceramic IWC is going to go half price?
  19. You found RWG. You found Salvation. Hallelujah. Move on!
  20. Fantastic. When did you get the small GMT hand?? I don't recall seeing that in your other pics of the 6542. When you order a redial from MY, what do you specify?? Do you give him the old dial from the Silix Sub, and a pic from the 6542 gilt dial you wanted printed...and leave it at that?? Does he put on new dial feet?
  21. Small triangle hand. SWEEET!!!
  22. You can replace the airking crown and tube with either an aftermarket or gen crown and tube. You just have to get the right part number. Post a request with pics in the rolex section and somebody should know the info. As to the Seiko...there are lots of Seiko parts out there for repair if you need.
  23. Are you talking the stem snapped off? You can get a replacement stem. If the stem bit is stuck in the crown...you still might be able to get it out with work...search for how to on the forum...I've seen instructions (e.g. vinegar or allum soak I think??? Not sure if this is right...don't trust me...never done it).
  24. It should run the same as the old movement. Same beat...same everything. The datewheel should NOT line up. You will have to either remove the overlay on the old movement and transplant...or swap the whole datewheel assembly assembly...in order to match the font with the window on the dial...and make sure to transfer the old dial spacer as well...to accomodate the extra height of the overlay. It should be Asian 21j.
