  1. I can post some animated gifs of the ending, if you want?
  2. You could have tried some Ali G on him..."Is you by any chance a bit jealous?".
  3. Lol, this topic has been covered lots of times over the past few years. But to be honest I never grow tired of it. The existing reps of RO Chrono are truly junk though....they really need to start again from the ground up with the case. The problems with replicating the movement have already been documented, but I'm sure there's something they could do to get it close enough.
  4. I read somewhere recently that Jose Mourinho (for those in the US, he's a soccer team manager in England) wore an AP Concept watch during a recent match.

    Heros

You mean Heroes? Yep - it's been really good over the past few episodes. Although IMHO most of the Sopranos since the mid-season break has been terrible. The central idea (i.e. showdown with Phil Leotardo) has been great but the execution has been awful.
  6. That promo was fracking awesome!
  7. Nice article. I think you may need to change the title from "Driver" to "Diver" though.
  8. Cheers.. I knew my eyes must have been playing tricks on me
  9. What's the difference between the two items above? The descriptions are the same.
  10. Thanks for the replies. I think the problem may be that no matter how much I push the crown in, I cannot disengage the winding mode.
  11. Ok, so I just received an IWC 3717 from EL the other day. It's an amazing watch. One problem though. When I unscrew the crown, all is fine: it reassuringly unscrews, and I can wind the watch, change the day, date and the time. However, when I push the crown in, so it connects with the thread on the case, I find it very difficult to screw the crown down, even though it is pushed in and threaded. There's a lot of resistance after the first turn and, also, with each turn, I can hear and feel that it is still winding the watch. I still haven't managed to screw the crown down completely because there's too much resistance. The problem exists no matter what time the watch it set at. The threads look to be intact, but I can't be sure because they are tiny. I have a IWC GST, which behaves differently. When I push in the crown on that watch, it latches onto the thread and very reassuringly screws down very tightly, without winding the watch further. So what's up with my 3717? Is it fracked? Hopefully I've described the problem fully --- but let me know if anything is unclear. Thanks.
  12. Guys, the picture was of a gen... a gen on which the dial came loose and slipped off....
  13. Here's a picture of the gen. It looks like the dial on the rep is way off!
  14. I've had the Panda since the group buy. The seconds were bit jerky when I received it, but it's actually a bit smoother now.
  15. If the past is anything to go by, the simpler a watch is to replicate, the more likely it is that the rep manufacturers will get it wrong.
  16. I don't think responsible, gun carrying citizens, would take guns into a school, so I would say that exactly the same number of people would have died.
  17. He probably bribed them with Jesus Juice...
