Breitling Superocean Heritage Wristshots!
rodwc replied to piratedzeus's topic in The Breitling Area
Pleased for you man. Anyone who buys this watch and is dissapointed , is truly, very very hard to please. I`m just waiting to mod mine and am gathering all information. -
Hi and welcome, I`m Allan Smith In answer to your question, I would say that 95% of the members are fully experienced in OPENING up watches, now FIXING them is another tale alltogether. If you have a mechanical aptitude , then by all means find the how to and put it into practice. I suggest pulling an old watch apart then re-assemble and make it run and keep time. Be prepared for failure. One BIG NO NO , don`t ever pull a piece down , totally f-ck it up , then send it to someone to be put right. Take it slowly and enjoy. A final word of warning , Don`t give up your day job just yet.

The crazy hours is 38mm x 32 mm. and like you say wears a little small. The conquistador perpetual calendar wears 100% better at 42 mm x 38 mm. and appears to dwarf the crazy hours side by side. This shows that pictures can tell a different story.

The plate seen with the numerals on, is in fact , the front plate. ( under the dial ) These printed numerals correspond with the actual dial numerals. There is no setting needed at all, apart from the position of the hour hand, insert the crown, turn until the hour flips, position the minute hand, ( on the hour ) .......finished. As far as I have seen , all crazy hours have the same dial layout, with the subdued pattern around the dial. White dial/black dial/ color dreams dial.

Re-Posted from Rep-Geeks. Without this information from Pugwash, I don`t think this would have been done. All done. Without this info. this would have been put on the back burner or in the too hard basket, so I really appreciate this information from you Pugwash. I see what you mean about the plate behind the dial, but there is absolutely no need to go there. Pics. have been taken , making it far easier now for anyone else to have a go. Without members such as yourself, many of us here would tend to shy away from jobs we havn`t done before.

Believe me when I say the screws around the side of the bezel do NOTHING. So , it will not work by tightening them , I , am finding a problem removing the bezel, to tighten it. There is a hexagonal circlip situated in the bezel, which once accessed is a simple job of tightening the whole bezel. Impossible, certainly not. As far as "unloading " it goes , just have a bit of patience and hang in there. The lume job is relativley straightforward in skilled hands, if YOU feel it is worth it. Meanwhile , fill in your time with the search button, then you will see you are not alone.

There were a lot of "Ladies " from the British clubs that I definately wouldn`t want to be faced with, especially in a dark alley. Really scary "broads ". Looked like a lot of "Dykes" having a good time in the Swedish clubs, very attractive though. Easy to see which people take care of their bodies ( dietwise ).

Same principle here, This mod was done to a SOSF. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...breitling+clasp

SEE, another member inputting a simple experience. Now, from reading all the above some other member is going to support Moneybookers. Sorry guys , I`m gone.

@ Tee-Jay, To say that I think ,you have misinterpreted the whole situation on my part, is an understatement, Please, just let us leave it at that, the subject of CQout WILL arise in the future for many more members, then they can use the search button . This all really isn`t worth the effort, of relaying an experience.

Maybe Tee-jay should come in an clarify this? -
NO FACT. Easy to see which side of the fence YOU are on. Did anyone see or hear anyone moaning? I think the Optometrist is calling you .
-
Ok, lets use a bit of brevity here for the sake of all the members having to wade knee deep through all this crap. Where did anyone see any complaint or whinge? I was simply conveying my experience with CQout. Obviously one person took exception to me relaying that fact. Sorry , too bad. At least the members get to see the other side and realise that problems WILL arise. I accept the fact that YOU had no problems with Cqout, .......I , f-cking did. Did you ever post the fact that you had NO problems with Cqout ?........ No ...... you wait for silly f-ckers like me to come along ,then rip $hit into them. If you care to re-read the OP, I acknowledged the fact that their sign-up process was too secure for me. A great lot of good that will do the board.

Sunday HeraldSun, May 4th. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...122-661,00.html Gordon cops it again. If he had been in earshot, I`m sure he would have called her a fockin oversized muffin. What beats me is all these minority groups making the loudest noise , suppose it`s just EMPTY VESSELS. Do you really think for one minute , he gives a toss ? At least last Thurs. when he said to one of the "delinquent" young chefs , "stand up straight and show some respect, you little fockin cont, " the "C " word was bleeped out.

It looks , "different " now, and if you like it that way fine, and a job well done. I still prefer the contrast between the polished areas and the brushed areas. Casebacks, I allways prefer polished , as the sweat disappears easier. Also a fair bit of metal would have come off the serial no.

A few facts to be able to buy on CQout. Firstly a buyer must register with CQout, by giving their credit card details. They charge you 2 English Pounds . An email is sent to your email address , you must verify this by clicking on the link given. Next before you are able to proceed you must verify your credit card details. What happens is CQout debits your credit card with an unknown Euro amount, this takes about 2 days to even appear on your statement, when known, this amount must be given to CQout, your buying account is then active. Even your mailing address has to be verified ( don`t know how that is done , as I havn`t done that yet.) All types of payment are shown at the checkout, Easy Pay, Escrow, Moneybookers, Bank transfer, Western Union, Master card/Visa credit cards. Only not all of these are accepted by the merchant, in my case, I couldn`t pay with my credit card ,as it was not of the secure type ie, EasyPay , so you are directed to open up another credit card. Thats fine if you happen to live in the US. ( I do not ). So I couldn`t get one. I didn`t intend paying by Western Union , as it was going to cost me $20 to send $75. I had to open a Moneybookers account, filled in all the details from the invoice, only to be told that payment can not be accepted and to contact the seller. Contacted the seller only to be told that their moneybooker account was having problems and that they had to give a document to upgrade their account to a Business account. ( so what are they running here, bloody Play school ? ) So this is similar to the "free" accounts on Paypal, ( any more than 5 per month, Premium account needed) The only option open to me was bank transfer, and yes that cost $20 if I did it myself on line. ($30 if they did it ) So all this payment crap, took the best part of a full day, and now I am informed that I have to wait 3 more business days for the bank transfer to clear, and you think some of OUR dealers are hard to deal with. My advice.......... STAY CLEAR, of CQOUT. It really isn`t worth the hassle. NOT HAPPY JAN.

How many times in the past 6 months, have I heard, "pick your dealer, then pick your watch ". Since no one is prepared to listen to me ( apart from freddy`s 1/2 belief ), I can now tell you for a fact that "Tonyxkf" at CQout and Ioffer is the same person as "Tony", watch-ebay/ idolreplicas.com Chinese name Xu Kefei. Whether your watch was shipped from HK, or anywhere else, also shows that he dropships. I am not prepared to state where this information has come from ,and am not stirring the pot, but you really should believe me about this . -

This was my reaction to your first post, and also after viewing idolreplicas.com OK, we don`t know if this "Tony" could be "Tonyxkf". but the written English bears unbelievable resemblence to the written exchanges that I had with "Tony xkf". How many Chinese put `. , in the correct place in spelling, and also use capitals in the correct places ? I have bought a watch for very similar reasons, (not for the actual watch, but for the parts I want.) Do you have this "tony`s" name , ie, the written English version, for his Chinese name? Will keep you informed. -
Great proposal.......Great outcome.

I understand that but as the heading on idolreplicas.com states; "We have updated our system and programme, exchanged old website www.watch-ebay.net to www.idolreplicas.com. " As there are tighter export restrictions on reps. from Singapore the watch which you received from Hong Kong could well have been sent through an agent, as I know for a fact ,certain Chinese "collectors" here use agents to ship from HK. Even one of our best known "collectors" spends 6 months of the year in Singapore, and all his watches are shipped from Guangzhou. Also the prices on all 3 web sites vary greatly. Sorry if this is all a bit off topic, but they could very well be connected. -

Thanks for that Freddy, is this the same TonyXKF as on CQOUT and Ioffer ? As I have just ordered a watch from him and had all sorts of payment problems.
