my 111H has been stolen today. i put it on my daughter's wrist to be funny and she will not give it back..... she cries every time i try to take it off! she keeps staring at it and talking to it. she even will keep holding it to her ear and listen to it.. worst part she crawls around the hard floor with it on and keeps banging it on the floor! she will NOT let me have it back HELP!!

breitlings don't seem to hold a great resale value so i doubt it's a good investment but if you like the watch and it's a good deal go for it! if you want to take the resale risk away buy one used at timezone. you should be able to sell for at least what you paid used if you don't like it after awhile. if the AD still has a discontinued model....chances are it's not a very hot item so it's a risky buy if you like to flip your watches.

i am considering sending the crystals from my omega GMT and SMP for an AR coating. these are not coated from the factory. am i hurting or helping resale if i ever decide to sell these? i love the dimension that the AR coating adds! gives more presence on the wrist. is it worth it? these are the suspects.....

joe, as for the gens... my speedy is coated on the inside only my PO is thick double coated my smp has no coating my GMT has no coating

don't bother with the springbars. they are the same as the gen anyway. i compared mine with my gen. the crown try polishing it first by putting the stem in a drill chuck and running the drill very slow while using a dremel with polishing compound (i use mother's polish) it will come out very close to the gen crown finish if you work it enough. i'd send the crystal for a double AR coat before anything else.

great pics and a nice comparison! after looking at those pics... i can suggest polishing your crown and scrapping the rep bracelet for rubber as the endlinks are wrong on the rep. also i sugest sending the crystal with the group buy for the double side AR service from chieftang. you would have one heck of a rep! of course if you want to get crazy, replace the bezel insert, dial, hands with genuine as well......

you can bend theclasp a bit to get rid of the gap. on the most narrow section of the inner clasp where it attaches to the bracelet there is a indent. kind of a U shape section. bend it in here a bit and it's good to go. the endlinks to first links gap is horrible and cannot be fixed as i can see.... i'd ditch the bracelet and get a rubber strap. if you like the steel the only choice is step up to the 45mm ultimate version which has a perfect bracelet and also better all around. the genuine bracelet costs $495! enough $$$ for a gen rubber strap for your 42mm AND an ultimate 45mm!
