  2. this is awesome!
  3. updated: i threw on a genuine alligator 26/26 dedloyment type strap for her to wear it. she loves it!!! i actually like the look! check it out...
  4. [ and ALL ladies love big watches and sportscars! except my wife but that's another story LOL!
  5. looks rediculis (did i spell that even close to right) on my wrist! almost like a ladies watch. i need a few links to wear it anyway but i'll flip it instead most likely.
  6. i'm no rolex expert by any means but those endlinks too way off to me. i could be wrong but they don't look right.
  7. ok ok you guys are dam good! ubi......i think you may have worked at the rolex factory at one point in time.... it's a gen and to be honest.... most if not all of my reps are of higher quality i'm sorry to say! the hollow endlinks don't fit right, the bracelet is flimsy, the dial looks decent but nowhere near as nice as my speedy triple date, the crystal comes with no AR coat. the truth is. i would be willing to bet that most rep rolexes are of better quality than the genuine! i think the works of ubi are more impressive than the works of rolex. i do like the way the clasp folds very tightly but other than that..... build a franken if you like this watch. much more satisfying and it may most likely come out nicer than this. i think the latest datejust with the solid links bracelet is a whole lot nicer and much heavier as well. this is an "f" series and was picked up for a low price as it needed restored. the finish was very scratched up and dirty from daily use. i polished, buffed, rubbed, cleaned and now it's again like new. funny thing is i know nothing about dial/date fonts and can seldom tell any difference even side by side. if i had this in one hand and a rep in the other.... i may choose the rep as the genuine! i bought and sold a rep solid TT TOG from joshua and it's quality was much higher. now that this is clean and polished.... what do i do with a 36mm watch??? LOL! your looks better than mine! awesome work randy as usual.....
  8. new crown coming your way courtesy of flavor flav......
  9. what are the flaws on this one? any mods reccomended? i know panerai but not much about rolex. i can see the endlink fit is [censored] poor but i think i can work that out. anything else?
  10. don kevlar/nylon
  11. you can just use a heavy wire cutters to trim the stem. they cut easily.
  12. nice work vaccum! looks like the 036 from joshua and a dial from davidsen. the 036 is a very nice rep! great crown gaurd and fat crown. very good AR coat and high quality build. josh says it's from a different supplier than the other pam reps he sells.
  13. good idea but if it's in tight enough that it broke off, i doubt a screwdriver will get it out.
  14. i figured he was giving his crystals "protection" LOL!
  15. i'm trying to keep myself from getting one as i know i'll end up with one of each color and no money left! thanks for taking the time here and enjoy that beauty!
  16. LOL! that strap would be perfect! it's on a genuine gator 26/62 deployment as of now and she loves it! she stares at it, plays with the crown and tells it stories. also she bangs it on her toybox to make drum sounds if anyone is worried i used a good 183 for this.... don't. i bought this from a member here for $99. asian unitas and the strap holes are completely stripped beyond use. the lugs have to be glued in. gorilla glue works great.
  17. neil you are in asia?? i thought scottland. good idea on the support section.
  18. the watch is kind of fugly but she is a hotty! i'd hit it.....
  19. 4th weekend works best for me. i shold have my double AR crystals back and installed by then

  21. i for one always read between the lines and never felt misled by anything from andrew or joshua. they are very honest people and a great asset to our community. they always deliver fast and make right any issues you have without question. if you are confused by anything just ask them a question. they will treat you as a friend and are 100% trustworthy.
  22. i've done this many times with no issue. seems less risky that a hand remover for the tiny hands.
