it's hard to tell with the blurry pics if his is the same as yours pug. a good sharp pic of amk's and we can tell. looks like the beveled section on his IS touching the case but the pics are fuzzy.

mr. wash.....great post and pictures here but i'm not sure why you think your pearl is "recessed" the PO pearl is not like rolex pearls. i am staring at my gen and it's exactly the same as my ultimate version and yours except the pearl is better centered in the insert on the gen.

the rep bracelet fits my gen just fine... i'm sure it will fit yours. BTW, the rep speedy bracelet is indistinguishable to the gen bracelet but the speedy type SM bracelet is not as well made. enjoy the speedy clasp and fit the wrong bracelet it looks better

me too! did you notice the "flaw" on the dial between 10 and 11:00? i've been meaning to uncase it and dab it with some putty but i never get around to it. gens have flaws......

smp chrono and 4th gen PO are my votes! the case is great on both but loose bezels and horrible "fakey" bracelets which beg to be replaced by rubber.

it almost looked like dried superglue on a matte surface. after three dips in "one dip" (very strong cleaner) didn't get it off, i had to scrape it. it's not good to have anything in the path of the regulator arm. she's running silky smooth

just finished up a full service on this watch. it's a c series 001. it was completely dry and running slow. did a full teardown clean and lube and now she's smooth as butter i though you guys may enjoy the pics to compare against our reps. the movement finish is unmatched.... it's really good!

you can pull off the fiddy easy.
