i'm with randy on this one....minute repeater for sure. overall i like basic handwind watches with very simple movements that i can easily service myself.

i've bought alot of pens here and the prices and service are great! check it out. i know we have alot of pen collectors here. pen store

i agree. i just don't care! i buy alot of gens anyway and alot of reps. i like watches. most of mine are really good modded reps and they probably wont get called out but i never give a close inspection to them.

every watch i ever owned gen and rep gets washed under hot water and dish soap after every days use and i've never leaked a drop inside any. as for the steam room and the toaster... i'm shocked your crystal did not pop out of the case!

i just use dial dots. no risk of damage. jb weld? how the hell can you ever remove the dial then? soldering can burn the paint on the dial and can be misaligned anyway.

oh i will! if there IS an outcome...... i somehow feel he may not get his watch back.

what's the "singer" for? and who cares what the back of the dial looks like who sees that anyways?

pm eddielee. the one i got from him i thought he sent me a gen! BTW the bracelet is much better then the one on your SMP chrono. it has correct pins/rollers and perfect fittting clasp. fit a genuine dial and crown and your good to go with that one!

about two years ago i sold a co-worker one of my cartier pasha reps (nice ETA gmt model from paul) anyways he knows it's a rep... it's been his daily beater for a quite awhile now so it's showing alot of wear on the bracelet and case. lots of scratches. i think he may have told his wife he won it in a bet so she would not be mad at him for spending money (all us married guys know the story) anyways he never told her it's fake. i offer to clean it up for him. i was going to complete tear down, service, refinish the case and bracelet and make it like new again in return for a case of redbull LOL! anyways he tells his wife i was going to restore it for him. two days later he wakes up and his watch is gone.... he asks his wife where it went and she says for a christmas present to him, she took it to the Cartier AD to have it sent out back to the manufacturer to have it refinished and serviced it cost her over $400! imagine the horror!!!!! he still has not heard anything back from the AD as to when it will be finished.......... what do you think will happen next?

all eddie lee sells is automatic rolex reps. there is no battery dude.... that's pretty much what we are obsessed with here..... mechanical marvels. look up "watch winders" on ebay and get one for yourself. your watch is mechanical and runs off a spring which is wound by a spinning rotor moved by your wrist movement. they will run 1-3 days once you take it off then stop as there is no wrist movement to keep the rotor spinning winding the spring. the watch winder will keep the watch in motion so it will have a full wind when you go to wear it. remember.......batteries=quartz or electric(old) and quartz=junk. automatic is what real rolex uses.

fun thread v! i would have to say all auto pams with 7750b1 non chrono movements. the crown functions are very cheap feeling and the date hard to catch on all of them. just feel cheap all the way around. next up is the 192.... i don't know why as it looks cool in photos. just not any wrist time at all. for some reason it just does not "fit in" too lightweight. all the unitas based pams i love!
