  1. no one sells the best panerai replica. you have to "build" it! some have a better case, some have a better dial, some have a better movement, some have a better crown......ect. you have to find all the best parts and combine them then do some mods like fix recessed cannon pins, relume, fat crowns, straps, ect. davidsenjpn is a good place to start... good luck and welcome to the forum! i can help out with mods if you need. i'd start out with a manual wind version first as they can be made more accurate easily. no worries about datewheels, cyclops, AR coatings, ect.
  2. probably a patek phillippe of some sort and of course what WIS collection is complete without an el primero? PAMs if they are you know...........cool
  3. all the dealers here carry it as far as i can tell.
  4. i agree! very classy watch... very accurate piece too!
  5. nice work vaccum!! i like the cannon pin
  6. wow! eric i think of you as the guy who "de-blings" his watches LOL! brushed finish breitlings come to mind! diamond serti dial????? i figured you would convince your friend to "de-bling" his rolex
  7. wearing my swiss 183g with a cannon mod, davidsen hands, superlume, and a really nice gator strap from BWB. just finished it up!
  8. finished off my swiss 183g with a cannon mod, davidsen hands, superlume, and a really nice gator strap from BWB. now she glows like a torch!!!! Tritec c3/c1 mix
  9. i agree with the photos the rep bracelet fit is better! rolex bracelets have no attention to detail when it comes to fitting/matching the lugs! looks like crap in this area if you ask me! on the gen daytona is there an AR coating? looks like it in that pic. the genuine dial is beautiful! i never liked the daytona untill i saw this pic of the genuine! but then again.....i refuse to buy a watch where the bracelet can't fit right to the lugs! why can they never get it right? i've never seen a rolex of any kind where the bracelet matches up..... and back to the topic, i am always happy to see a watch with flaws i can correct! that's the whole fun of reps to me anyways....doing the mods! if they were perfect, i would not make the spare change doing mods for you guys and in the end... i'd not have as much fun with them.
  10. well... i think the planet ocean would be more "authentic" with the slow beat 21j seagull movement anyway. the 28800 eta copy will have too smooth sweep. my genuine you can see tick 4 times per second! the omega 2500 movement is a modified 2892 with a coaxial escapement that runs very slow! not a smooth sweep but very consistant and precise. a smooth sweep is a givaway!
  11. i feel as if my dog just died
  12. cheif, i think it would be good if it's very tall. almost neck level so your eyes are close by the work. also the edges should be raised so nothing can roll off the table. i also think the surface should be covered in leather or vinyl for a soft scratch free work area. also i'd attach some kind of clamp or bolt on bright work lights and maybe a small vice. sounds like a good project
  13. 5+2+2+6=15.......5 more needed! come on guys! chronomat in? avitt in? that would be 2 more! craytonic, 5 more would be awesome! we would be good to go.
  14. cheap knockoff.... not even a rep.
  15. great we only need five more
  16. pug, your tutorials are truly helpful and have tought me alot about photography.... but the you don't decent camera thing??? not entirely true. a decent camera will take 10 times better shots than a cheap or old digital camera using the same setup and lighting. if this were true, why would "better" cameras exist? i cannot for the life of me get a halfway decent shot with my old kodak dc-215 not at all... my new camera, not too expensive but not exactly a cheap camera either, cannon rebel eos zr-85, i get great shots almost every time! and especially close up shots that are impossible with my old kodak. so i will challenge you to hold your claim and show us the old cheap camera and the pics taken with it compared to your good camera. i'll even ship you my old kodak dc-215 if you like. day and night difference in the pics from different grade cameras. the kodak takes almost cell phone-like pics close up. distance photos are ok but watch photos.....very bad.
  17. very cool! how can i get that program?
  18. this looks like a great watch but the spacing is too far off and the numerals too small...... i wonder about a genuine movement and dial swap. for aprox $1000usd you would have a killer watch! thanks for posting the review i keep going back and forth on this one.
  19. the AR thread is confusing on how many are ready to ship out to cheiftang. lets just post here nothing but a number of how many crystals you can ship cheiftang by 1/26/07 and see what kind of count we have. just simply post a number and when you can ship so we can get a green light to get it done. thanks 5 can ship immediatly from me.
  20. you made me smile pugwash! great engineering job! mine were easy to resize using a pin remover vice. took five minutes. i assume you are using a hammer and punch to press out the pins? $15 pin remover is the best $$$ spent if you have a watch fetish...... and you do have a watch fetish we all do!
  21. ummmmm........i'd ask the dealer for a new case. but thats just me :black_eye: unbelievable. if it were done like the crystal mounts it should be watertight but threads on the caseback it's obviously a dud!
  22. i would say the most popular would be the 111H. but i'd do the 177h titanium.
  23. mine from joshua is great. no issues at all. i may polish the crown as the crown finish is off a bit. other than that.....awesome rep!
  24. strap is awesome! great watch....great pics...great taste i think you may want to consider changing your name from rolli to pammi !!!
