  1. Hello, everyone This is steve,we will present the detailed comparison of 126500 Panda Daytona between the Clean, VS, APS and the Gen this time. Front View Photos Under Lighting View Under the same indoor white lighting, the dials from Clean, VS, and QF have a slightly cool white tone, while APS leans toward a pure white. To the naked eye, the dial color of APS is the closest to the Gen. Bezel & Crystal View The crystal heights from all four factories match the Gen. Clean has updated the crystal on the 1265xx Daytona and there is no obvious improvement after swapping to the Deep crystal. The chamfer of the crystal edge of Clean is more rounded , which is slightly different from the Gen. Bezel Engraving View Since the Gen has been in use for a while, the markers have slight yellowing and smudges. The ceramic bezels from Clean, VS, and QF appear to come from the same accessories factory, with similar numeral font and engraving depth. However, the bezel from the APS is the most closest to the Gen, with more accurate numeral markers thickness and depth. The index scale below the numeral is also slimmer, and the triangular scale is sharper, which is clearly different from the other three factories. Dial Crown and Markers View The dials of Clean and VS come from the same accessories factory, which is the closest to the Gen. the dial markers from the QF is similar to the Clean and VS but with minor differences. APS is no polished triangular scale for the stick markers, appears to more tough. (dial markers from the QF is also good, but it seems to be from the other provider, you could make a comparison and choose one you prefer) Hands and Lume Fill View All four factories have lume fills with a slight pale green tint. Initially, I assumed this was just a characteristic of the lume, but after comparing all five watches under the same lighting, the Gen markers color remained unchanged and consistent with the dial color. The watches from the other four factories showed the light green effect shown in the picture. Dial Printing View Clean and VS dials have slightly wider spacing between the three letters "TER" in "CHRONOMETER" below the crown than the Gen. The APS has the correct spacing, but the overall font on the dial is thinner than the original. The red text "Daytona" under the hands is also lighter than the Gen. The QF font printing looks like a bolder version of the APS. Subdials View Gen has 9-10 black rings, while the APS and QF have the same quantity. Clean and VS have only 7-8 black rings. The sub-dial numbers printed in color and ink thickness on the APS and QF are closer to the Gen,but if you look closely, the continuity of the ink printing on the sub-dial is not as complete as the GEN. Hands and the axles View there is no big difference between the four factories, all of them are seem to be good and welcome to discuss this together. Chronograph Pushers View When unscrewing and screwing in the pushers, the length of the crown of each factory is not much different. the shape of the Clean crown guard is closest to Gen,while VS and QF are slightly thinner, and APS is thicker. Lugs and Side View The steel bracelet of APS is slightly lower than the lugs, but it is flush with the lugs from QF, and Clean and VS are closer . There are no obvious problems with the lug shape of each factory. VS seems to have fixed the lug problem on 126500. The three dots on the crown representing the waterproof level are relatively thicker for VS, while those of other factories are consistent with the Gen. Case Side & Case Back View Bracelet View Both VS and Clean use AR bracelets, Through the actual feel, the steel straps of APS and QF are slightly loose. Clasp Engraving In terms of engraving, you can compare and see which one you like better. Lume Effect View From direct observation, the lume color on all four factory models closely matches the Gen, with similar performance across the board. Rehaut View Movement View Since the Gen caseback cannot be opened, we left blank for the Gen movement picture. VS uses the DD4131 movement, Clean and APS use the second generation of SH4131 (without fake shock absorbers), and QF uses the first generation of SH4131 (with decorative shock absorbers). When shaking the watch, the rotors of VS and Clean make less noise, while the sound of APS and QF is relatively loud. Although Clean and APS use the same movement, Clean has been additionally adjusted and optimized after getting from the factory, and the movement plate engraving is also different from APS. Measurement Data Note: All watches are measured in a clamped state, and there may be errors due to the slight deviation of the position of the caliper. Well, today's post is here, thank you guys for watching. If there are any mistakes, please correct me. If there is anything else I overlooked, you can put it up, and I will try my best to complete it. Welcome to comment and exchange! I will continue to bring you more detailed comparisons between replica watches and GEN’s. And it is also for you to choose the favorite models conveniently. Illustration: Some photos deviate from the real object due to the light source. For details, please refer to the content. The size of the comparison picture is relatively large, you can download it and enlarge it for comparison. There is no perfect replica, only the one you prefer. Thanks. 2. Hello everyone, this is Steve. The short vacation passed so fast. I'm back again. In the new year, let's start with the new model, the long-awaited new Daytona from Clean Factory has been released finally, so today I will bring you a comprehensive comparison of Daytona 126518 between GEN and Clean. Clean’s top details are well known, and the old Daytona has always been dominated by them, so let’s see if Clean’s new Daytona still exudes the aura of king. Year after year, I still can't get rid of the nagging prologue, stop the nonsense, let's get started. Front Dial View Light View and natural light view For models with gold case, there will be color difference between electroplated gold and real gold, so it is difficult to achieve perfect restoration, but Clean has already controlled it very well, the color is a little ligher than GEN. It is hard to avoid the color difference on the dial. Clean will be darker, but it is within the acceptable range. This does not affect anything. If you remove the GEN and look at it alone, you won't feel the color strange, this is enough. Bezel View The new Daytona adds a metal frame to the edge of the ceramic bezel, the height and thickness of the Clean's frame is consistent with GEN. Bezel Digital Fill View There are no problems with the size and spacing of the numbers, the fill color is pretty good. Crystal Side View Through comparison in reality, the edge of Clean's crystal seems to be more rounded, because Clean's edge chamfering is very sufficient, when scratched with fingers, GEN will appear sharper and Clean is smoother. Crown and Stick View The markers of the new model have become more slender, I personally think that the shape is pretty good, and they are still maintaining excellent details, the sharp corners are all chamfered. Sub-dials View The three sub-dials of the new Daytona are a little smaller than the old model, Clean dial is restored very well. The subdial's size, scale printing and the raised texture on the surface of the scale ring are all good, I can’t find any problems even by magnifying it. It is a little regrettable that the hand of chronograph hour sub-dial seems to be slightly shorter, but when we compare them side by side, it is not obvious to the naked eye. So it has no impact. For the central axles, I have to praise Clean, the solid central axles are all consistent with GEN, the most important thing is that the shape is exactly the same as GEN, the processing is very clean and no welding marks or flaws. Central Axle View This middle central axle of time hands is slightly different, the small raised dot is not obvious, it's actually hard to notice with the naked eye, so it doesn't matter, as long as the shape of the outer sleeve is consistent with GEN. Mimeograph Front View The mimeograph fonts are perfectly controlled, the brightness is completely consistent with GEN, regular and three-dimensional, the color of the red Daytona font is also very similar, all in all, no need to worry about Clean’s dial details control and process of markers, hands and printing, etc. Luminous Fill View This part is still an old rule, as long as the graininess is strong, the visual sense under high-definition view presented by Clean is still very good. Rehaut View Clean’s rehaut is very clear, not inferior to GEN in comparison, but the engraving process is different, so when you zoom in, you can see the shading is slightly different, but this does not matter. Chronograph Crown View In the tightened state, the leakage length of the button remains the same, and it is also same in the unscrewed state. Here we mainly talk about the feel. GEN’s chronograph crown has a certain sense of damping when pressed and the rebound strength is obvious. Clean is also okay, but GEN feels a little tighter when pressed and the sound sounds more delicate. Case Side View There is not much to say about the case as there is no change of case for the new Daytona model, the side shape and thickness of middle case are exactly the same. Endlink View Caseback View The height of the caseback edge is consistent with GEN and the teeth are rounded and won’t scratch your hands. In addition, the precious metal marks on the lugs are also consistent with GEN, the depth and three-dimensionality are very good. Bracelet and Buckle Details View The buckle lettering of Clean has always been very clear, although the logos of precious metal dog head and the Libra are not as three-dimensional as GEN, we can't ask for too much, after all, it is indeed difficult for the current imprint engraving to be as refined as GEN. Laser Marker and Luminous View Movement View Clean equipped with the super clone Shanghai 4131 movement which is a real mold-making movement and not modified with 4130. It is also the only super clone 4131 in the replica market at present, the actual power reserve time is around 66 to 68 hours. It is exclusively used by Clean. Data comparison chart Note: All watches are measured in a clamped state, and there may be errors due to the slight deviation of the position of the caliper. Well, today's post is here, thank you guys for watching. If there are any mistakes, please correct me. If there is anything else I overlooked, you can put it up, and I will try my best to complete it. Welcome to comment and exchange! 3. Hi everyone, I'm Steve, I'm back and I seem to be back more often these days, hope you don't mind, haha. Time flies, it's been more than a year since I did this kind of work, and I still remember Steve's first comparison post started with the daytona series, and recently the APS factory also released the daytona series, and it just so happens that I still have the genuine 116500 black in my hands, so let's take this opportunity to go back to the beginning. As we all know, the market for the 4130 Daytona is currently dominated by two factories, clean and BT, and the choice of most models is either C or B. Although there are other factories joining them, they have failed to take a share of the pie from the "CB" combination. Today we will see how the newcomer APS performs. Front Dial View Natual Light View View Under Light Sunlit view By comparing the view in multiple environments, we can see the difference between the color of the subdial and the Gen. In fact, the color deviation is secondary, after all, it is inevitable, but mainly the reflectivity of the APS is a bit strong, which is where I think the most improvement is needed. Bezel View The APS bezel is also a clean factory replacement bezel, the best ceramic Daytona bezel on the market today, with the same frontal width and lateral height as the Gen. Crystal Side View The overall crystal is excellent, the thickness of the beveled edges is well controlled and the transparency I personally feel is good. Bezel Platinum coating The Bezel is filled with vacuum plated 18K white gold, the colour is a slightly greyish white rather than pure white, the colour is almost indistinguishable from Gen (some of the figures appear slightly yellowish in the comparison view as the gen has been around for some time) Crown and markers side view The overall stick and crown maintain the style of a major manufacturer, especially the rounded edges of the stick,Objectively speaking, APS has taken great care in this area of detail. Luminous Filled View The luminous filling is also very granular, especially the stick, which is not inferior to gen. Oil font View Overall, the oil print is a bit lacking and the edges are a bit irregular, but of course all the small details are equal to the naked eye (Gen and reproduction are equal), so this is a minor or major problem. However, the font "DAYTONA" is a little too bold and feels a little too big. Subdial view The length of the hands is fine, they are in line with the Gen, but the Middle Axis is slightly flawed, the centre is raised a little high and there are some burn marks. Side view of subdial In contrast to the Gen, the subdials are a bit different in terms of grain and lettering, but of course this can be ignored, and as mentioned at the beginning, the main thing is that the reflections are rather severe. Middle Axis View The Middle Axis is the same problem as the subdials, the centre is raised too high, if it were sunk a little it would be very close to the Gen. Rehaut Side View The engraving and clarity of the typeface are very good, but of course this is standard for a major manufacturer Endlink side view The curvature of Endlink presents a good feeling and is overall very similar to Gen, with the same amount of sink at the lower edge as Gen Chronograph head view In both the screwed and unscrewed position, the outer leakage of the chronograph crown remains consistent with Gen. As far as the pressing hand is concerned, after repeated tests, I personally think that APS is very good, the overall pressing and rebounding process is relatively smooth, with a strong sense of damping and rebounding, which seems to be off-topic, as these aspects are also influenced by the chronograph components of movement. Case side view You can review the data comparison chart at the end of the Comments for yourself, after all, the eye can make mistakes, but the data is not misplaced. Haha. Caseback view The detailing of the back cover is very fine, the teeth are very rounded, especially in the frosted and brushed areas, which look very clean and neat. Case engraving View The case is engraved in parallel with Gen, which lacks depth, but this is due to the difference in craftsmanship and the difference is inevitable. Bracelet Details View Check out the strap details for yourself. There is not much more to say, I'm afraid I don't have enough vocabulary, so I'll have to save it, haha. Laser Marker View The shape of the laser markers is still the same as in other reproduction factories. The gen is irregularly arranged from the side, something that no factory has done, although it is not a very important detail. Luminous View The luminous colours remain consistent. As mentioned earlier, the graininess is very strong and the actual result is the same. Since we did not open the caseback to photograph the movement, as you may know, APS is equipped with the Shanghai (VR) calibre 4130, which the factory claims to have a power reserve of 70 hours, but after actual tests, it was confirmed that the movement has a power reserve of 66-68 hours, although it does not yet reach 70 hours,But the difference is already small, as the actual kinetic reserve of each movement varies slightly. Data comparison chart Note: All watches are measured in a clamped state, and there may be errors due to the slight deviation of the position of the caliper. In addition, GEN intercepts the strap, and the factory has a steel strap protective film that has not been torn off. Well, today's post is here, thank you guys for watching. If there are any mistakes, please correct me. If there is anything else I overlooked, you can put it up, and I will try my best to complete it. Welcome to comment and exchange! 4. Hi, greetings to all! We did a dismantling comparison between the gen 4130 movement and the clean 4130 movement. This movement has been in the market for many years, and it is one of the few Daytona chronograph movements that is known for its ultra-high stability. Clean has been using 4130 movement for about a year. Comparing to the previous 4130 movement from Noob, this movement has been polished, accessories have been upgraded. It is called v2 4130 movement for others. We carefully photographed all parts and found that some parts are slightly different in polishing. After all, the price of the movement differs by 50 times. Most of the accessories can be exchanged with gen. So there is no doubt that this is the best replica movement in the world. We also took a video here. I hope you can feel the charm of this top replica 4130 movement more clearly from now on. See you next time~ Regards, CTime
  5. Hello all. I have been away for a while, can any comment about these new Daytonas. which factory has the better at the moment cheers
  6. I started this build about 5 years ago, and it's still not done. Started out with an idea...build a "close as I can get" Daytona. I found a NOS El Primero movement...seems like a good place to start. So that led me to getting Phong's case. Then I found a gen dial and hands...then a bezel...then gen pushers...you know the drill. I even found a genuine rotor to finish off the build nicely. I sent the lot of parts off to a watch builder (whom I can't locate anymore because I lost access to the email address that we'd conversed over) to put everything together for me. He came back with a laundry-list of gen parts that I'd need in order to make it work. "No problem...do it." 6 weeks later, I got the watch back with a note that said the case wasn't drilled correctly and the pushers wouldn't engage. This really aggravated me, but I figured that Phong would fix it for me. As expected, Phong offered to replace the case, just send it off to him. No problem! ...then I mis-placed the watch. Couldn't find it anywhere. Looked high and low...not in my safe, not in my watch box. GONE. I was [censored]. I had about $5,500 into the build. I was upset for a few months, but eventually got over it. Then, today happened. I found the watch. I'm packing to move and was digging through my "I never wear these sweaters" drawer, and there it was. Just sitting there looking at me. Wound it up, set the time, and it's ticking away. But it's still not working correctly. I'm positive that Phong won't replace the case now, as it's been 4.5y since we talked about it, and I don't have that email address to go back to him. I opened the back up, and can click the chronograph pushers from the inside. They click, but do nothing. It doesn't engage the second hand, or either of the other 2 hands. So now I'm in the hunt for a talented watchmaker that could work on this for me. Hopefully, they can fix the movement and make the pushers work somehow. I don't know...I'm happy, but now frustrated again. Here are a few pics I took when I had it on the old bench a few min ago. Any ideas?
  7. So I have decided to start off the path of building myself a V72 powered 6263 Daytona. One main element for that build is a Valjoux 72 in good running order, or in my case a questionable eBay score. I snagged it for $1300 so not too bad but after digging in it has definitely seen some better days. Some rust (thankfully only mainly affecting screw threads) and some shotty repair/replacement work BUT it does run pretty decent right out of the case. Right out of the old case and on the timeographer it was reading +1sec/day, +1.46ms Beat error, and 277 amplitude. Im hoping with a nice clean and fresh oils we can improve that. Anyways I took photos along the way to keep track of where all the parts go and figured I would share with the crew here incase anyone else decides to go down this road. Sadly when taking the photos it didn't hit me to keep the same orientation of the movement for each shot so I edited my best to keep it somewhat consistent shot to shot, If I do get around to photographing the assembly then ill keep that in mind. To kick it off Ill start with a shot of the whole movement and a close up of the "aftermarket" hour recording jumper spring I didn't notice before I bought it... And on to the disassembly, Starting with the dial side standoffs and chrono parts. Hour Recorder bridge first (Boomerang shaped part left of center). Hour Hammer [censored] is next (large giraffe shaped part with two large screws just right of center) Hour hammer and Pawl next which were under the hour hammer [censored] on the right side along with the large long Pawl spring contacting them. The large curved Dial standoff on the left is next , And on to the reverse side to start on the Chronograph parts. These ill just show instead of naming parts. Heres the underside of the train wheel bridge. Shot of the wheels in their places Escape and seconds wheel removed And home stretch back to the dials side for the keyless works and the other thing Check out how dirty the main spring is. Nasty stuff. And one last shot of all the Chronograph parts next to their respective screw. They all have their own unique size screw so I wanted to make sure I got this shot for the reassembly. Thanks guys!
  8. Hi, want to buy high quality Rolex replica watches. Know a site that sells?
  9. So I've wanted to post this for a long time now and I think now is the perfect time. This Daytona crazy is insane. With Paul Newmans Daytona selling for 17 million dollars more and more people are wanting a piece of history on their wrist. A few years ago that was me. I contacted the right people and since then I have had 2 spectacular vintage builds. Having said that the real reason for this topic is to get everyones opinion on who is the best. Rolojack or TheSociety. I have worked with Jack in the past and everything has been pretty amazing. Also, I have read up alot on TheSociety and from the looks of posts he also build really well. I want to get other members opinions on who goes down on the top 5 list. I know RoloJack really doesn't build anymore so its a sad situation. I also did not write this so we can flood all these Daytona builders. The main reason is to compare and get real life stories on peoples experiences dealing with these two. They both have different styles, Different sources, and different end products. I know RoloJack is so much more methodical and has attention to detail. I know Society has an insane collection and gets more into tropical dials, etc. With that being said I hope to hear back from you guys and look forward to reading some cool stories. If I left anyone out please members chime in. Thanks.
  10. Which dealer sells this one and it is really a movement clone? any links to dealer site Thanas
  11. does the Noob uses the same movement that the ARF? Is there an ARF Fully functional Chrono already out? I would like to hear comments from whoever has one already Thanks
  12. Today some pictures of my Rolex Daytona 6263 Paul Newman Enjoy them!
  13. I wanted to share pictures of my Daytona build that I received not to long ago. This project started sometime last year. I knoew what I wanted but was not really familiar with the technical aspects of the build. Parts, movements, etc. After doing alot of research I reached out to Rolojack and asked if he would be willing to make me something pretty special. I decided on the Daytona 6263 PN Panda Dial. Something about this dial that i really liked. I put my trust in his hands and he worked his magic. He would ask me what I wanted every step of the way and was a huge help. Rolojack thanks for doing what you do. Also for taking the time, effort, skill, and patience. Let me know what you all think.
  14. Hello to all again! I haven't spent a lot of time on these forums in years, as I've simply been satisfied with my old 116520 & V? DSSD. Anyway, I'm looking for help from some of the more knowledgeable current members--I'd like to update my DSSD and after doing a little homework have narrowed it down to either the V6s or the V7 (looking between these two): V6S: https://www.intime02.co/rollie/2650-sea-dweller-deepsea-116660-black-ceramic-v6s-1-1-noob-best-edition-sa3135.html V7: https://www.intime02.co/rollie/2950-sea-dweller-deepsea-116660-black-v7-1-1-noob-best-edition-a2836.html From the pics & description I see I'm kind of leaning towards the V6s. After doing a few different searches I still haven't found a proper comparison here between the two to say: is the V7 really better than the V6s and if so for what reasons? And is the SA3135 really any worse in reliability than the 2836 or is that just outdated information? Secondly, I have the old JF Daytona 116520 in white but am wondering if it's worth the upgrade to the new ARF w/ the (supposedly) 904L construction? I like the fact that unlike the JF the ARF 904L has a working stop-watch hand. My question is: is this new movement just another ticking timebomb like the old 7750 or is it as reliable for daily wear as the JF? And since the case is 1.5mm thicker is there a thinner caseback available or can I make it thinner by just using my old JF caseback and removing the rotor? Maybe I should just buy a 904L bracelet for my JF and call it a day. ARF: https://www.intime02.co/rollie/4110-daytona-116520-arf-1-1-best-edition-904l-ss-case-and-bracelet-white-dial-a4130-super-clone.html Any help to these questions would be greatly appreciated. Good talking & thanks for your help.
  15. Hi everyone, I am new to RWG and though I could write something about this special watch that was produced in a very limited number with the approval from Rolex. Since it is related to Rolex I thought I post it in the Rolex area. Hope this is ok. I recently obtained this Telda Paul Newman Daytona Chronograph Replica and wanted to share some pictures and information with the forum. Based on some research I found the following interesting information: Telda is a brand of the Swiss manufacturer "Les Fils d'Armand Nicolet, Manufacture des Montres Telda S.à.r.L" By courtesy of Rolex, Telda has produced a limited edition of 300 pieces of the Paul Newman Chronograph in the 90's (prior to the hype of the PN Daytona). So there are less of these than the original, which makes them interesting to collect The watch has the same dimensions as the original with an automatic movement ETA 2824 with Chronomodule by Dubois Dépraz The dial is very similar to the original with the difference of the two hour and minutes counters being switched There are different versions of this watch with a white dial and with the steel tachymeter bezel instead of the black bakelite Given the rising popularity of the original Paul Newman Daytona's Rolex requested Telda to replace the red "Chronographe" wording above the seconds counter with "Replica", as seen on my example I am keen to hear if other members have any additional information to this watch, as there is very limited information available. Enjoy!
  16. I'm thinking about rolex daytona recently. What is your opinion on A7750 with working chronos? I know it's 2,5mm thicker than a gen. My PAM is 14mm and it's already massive not to mention smaller rollie. To be honest new 13mm daytona made of 904 looks really amazing! I know it has frozen chronos due to 4130 but it's quite slim. What's your opinion on this one? I'd like to hear from someone with 7750 daytona Thanks!
  17. Fellow members I am looking to replace the bracelet on my 6263 Daytona with a Gen bracelet. If anyone has a 19mm 78350 Gen Bracelet for the 6263 Daytona please pm me. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
  18. Hi guys I'm a newbie here I have vast experience in genuine watches & replicas. although I've come across these two beauty's on Trusty Via Andrew. http://www.ttw-138.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_6&products_id=16050 and http://www.ttw-138.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_452&products_id=15989 the 2017 Green dial Daytona and the new 40mm day date. can anyone give me a hint or point me in the right direction as which watch is more likely to feel and also look the most genuine? its a lot to spend on a rep, approx $1,400.00 I've never splashed out over $600 on a rep before, this is new territory for me. all comments and help would be appreciated! thanks all.
  19. Spent many hours on this one. I'm asking the Rolies experts out there. How can I make this JF 1:1 looking any better?

  21. I always wanted to try one of these Daytonas so I picked one up from Andrew @ Trustytime01.com. Let me also say, a first rate experience in every way....henreally is a top trusted seller. QC photos approved on Saturday and DHL delivered Wednesday afternoon. Amazingly fast and secure shipping from China to the US. I kept the black deployant strap. This one is a bit more formal with the mother of pearl / roman dial, but I softened it a bit by swapping out the strap with a grey perlon. These MOP dials are spectacular in the sunlight...bursts of greys, pinks, reds, and greens. So far, time is great at -6 seconds/day. Out of an abundance of safety, I have not used the chrono...and no plans to. Enjoy...
  22. Wanted to know if any of you fellow members have purchased the seemingly impossible to find new 2016 Daytona. I have seen the ones the TD offer. Even msged back and fourth with a few of them. To my knowledge one factory is better than the other but at the end of the day it may be personal preference. Has anyone gotten a rep of the new 2016 Daytona? If so what are you're thoughts?
  23. I recently started getting into vintage Rolex watches. Specifically the Paul Newman watch. Every time I travel to a different city I go to vintage watch stores to check out what they have. Most of you know that the vintage rolex watches are crazy expensive. Having said that how difficult is it to build a new perfect vintage Paul Newman Rolex? I know there are a few different color options and of out of those which is the coveted among the Paul Newmans? I have a few genuine rolex watches and just now have done more and more research on forums like this. I dont think I will ever buy a genuine watch again given that several websites have great replicas. I would rather pay a couple hundred dollars than $8,000+. Let me know what you guys think and if any of you members has any vintage Paul Newmans youre looking to get rid of I would be interested. Thanks.
