ryaku Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 All watches in pics are genuine. Which one do you prefer? Moreover i'd like to know your preference about colour. Which one would you get?
marrickvilleboy Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Black SMP for sure! I'm thinking of getting the Orange PO though.
Gerco Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Black SMP for sure! I'm thinking of getting the Orange PO though. Black SMP. But: the 45 mm PO is also a beauty,,,,,and bigger
SubFrog Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 You know, when the Planet Ocean first came out, I was really into this watch. But, after a while, and trying on a gen, I think I'm back to the Seamaster as my choice. It's a classy watch...so, Black SMP
ryaku Posted August 15, 2006 Author Report Posted August 15, 2006 I have had a Po with black bezel for 2 weeks and i like it very much but now it keeps me from buying another black bezel omega. My first choice is PO black bezel/white numbers. I'm also considering 007 models but i don't like their hands much.
djtimodj Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 PO !!!!!!!!!!! PO !!!!!!!!!!! PO !!!!!!!!!!! PO !!!!!!!!!!!
JWR Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I'm concerned that the PO looks too much like a Sub... the bracelet is very similar at arms length...
By-Tor Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 PO needs to be orange. That color is synonymous with it... and it's a fun watch. Black is very nice but it looks too typical.
eddhead Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Black PO with Orange numbers I agree. I never cared too much for the PO until recently, and the version with the orange numerals is especially nice
Alextor Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 PO... orange...5th gen...and a half... (on a strap!) hands down...
tag Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Like Pugwash: Black PO with Orange numbers. You can wear it with a suit or casual shirt. Orange numbers gives it a special look. I've been trying POs for 6 months. I first fell in love with orange bezel, then switched to black bezel then chose the black w orange numbers. Ready to get the gen.
PAMman Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Black SMP. I have the genuine and also a rep for a beater. The rep is very good.
jeff g Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 There is NO doubt which is stronger/better/faster, etc... PO is OK but the 'BroadArrow" hands don't do it like the SMP. Could be that the SMP black dial / black bezel is the nicest watch known to man. Even the rep is fantastic.
longshot Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 I just made the decision this week after selling my Tag Link GMT and went for... the black dial/bezel SMP from Joshua I had a 4th gen P.o. and really liked it a lot but the watches I tend to keep and really wear are almost always classics. Sub, GMT II, Seawolf Avenger and my vintage Seiko 6105 and 6309 divers. The P.O. may become a classic someday but (IMHO) the black SMP already is
Richard Tracy Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Ditto--- Smp.....is already an established Classy Classic PO, though nice, may, or may not, make that status... I had two PO's 42 & 45mm and sold them.... but I would never part with my SMP....
its_urabus Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 black smp... as soon as i find a rep i like, im pulling the trigger.....
