TeeJay Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Today's another 'combat shorts and wife-beater' day for me. Same watch as usual, but in deference to the heat, I've put it on the stripy NATO for a little extra comfort
AllergyDoc Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Decided to wear gold today: This watch always starts up with just a gentle shake.
TeeJay Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Decided to wear gold today: This watch always starts up with just a gentle shake. Not something I could wear myself, but a fine piece Good to see you posting, Doc
vlydog Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 I found that the comfort and good looks of the GW really suits my mood today. Ready to swallow then alive!
AllergyDoc Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Not something I could wear myself, but a fine piece Good to see you posting, Doc Thanks, TJ. I used to wear gold all the time. Now I have this one, which I wear 1-2 times a month, my TT YM, which I wear weekly, and a RG 183, which I'm hit-and-miss with. The gold reps tarnish quickly here and require regular upkeep--I'm too lazy for that!
TwoTone Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Old faithful for me while visiting the Great State of Alaska and my good friend Nanuq... Double T .
TeeJay Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 Thanks, TJ. I used to wear gold all the time. Now I have this one, which I wear 1-2 times a month, my TT YM, which I wear weekly, and a RG 183, which I'm hit-and-miss with. The gold reps tarnish quickly here and require regular upkeep--I'm too lazy for that! Any time I've never been a fan of gold, and after my wrist broke out in a rash after wearing a school-friend's dad's Rolex (thinking back, it would have been a DayDate Presidential) I've avoided the metal wherever possible That said, just because I don't wear it, I can still appreciate things made in it
