xelorrolex Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 I am very proud to open (for the very first time) this traditional section ... It's a Rolie's Week End for me : GMT IIc for saturday and 2009 Daytona for sunday ...
TeeJay Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 My bad I'm still wearing my newly modified NATO sub, which has undergone a 're-branding' from Rolex, to Tudor... From this: To this: A 100% improvement, I think I am absolutely loving the dial which Slartibartfast made, there is another in existence, which he has suggested could be put to an RWG raffle... What's the lume like? Well, it's not superluminova, but, after a charging from an LED torch before bed, the lume was still readable 6 hours later I love how it looks on the wrist, and has really got my Snowflake project off to a flying start Potentially a very long-term project due to costs of various parts, so one which will be a 'work in progress' for some time, but, one I am very happy to wear 'as is'

P4GTR Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 I like the coffee bean pic Freddy. HackR's famously reviewed POrikka arrived to me yesterday. I'm wearing it on rubber but I don't have a pic of it yet.

mbjoer Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 I am wearing the old bean-counter today (Saturday) Jeeez! When I see your photos, I (almost)forget about the watches. These pics are from another planet. Keep them comming!!
Pugwash Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Speedmaster au Cuir, served on a bed of cogs.
vlydog Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Beautiful shot Pugs. It looks like the cogs were painstakingly placed there. Their worn, oxidized patina plays off perfectly with the aged index markers and serves as an excellent contrast to the SS of the watch.
vlydog Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 I love this watch and the combination of colors in the picture.
Pugwash Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Beautiful shot Pugs. It looks like the cogs were painstakingly placed there. Thanks! I wouldn't say they were painstakingly placed, but let's just say the scene was dressed. There was a deliberate composition.
vlydog Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 My Friday and Saturday complete with gen bracelet; fresh from Spin.

freddy333 Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 Dinner Saturday with a couple of friends - 1 horological & 1 hormonal
freddy333 Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 When I see your photos, I (almost)forget about the watches. These pics are from another planet. Thanks, but I must have been on that other planet when I posted these this morning. I did not realize that the 1st pic is the wrong watch (not the watch I was wearing today).
