danza1812 Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 The 42 mm po is much more wearable than a ploprof, surely that should make it more marketable? Please watchmakers supply the demand!
Craig S Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 The proplof is damn ugly, thats what it is. Surely there isnt a great market for them??
plaifender Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 The proplof is damn ugly, thats what it is. Surely there isnt a great market for them?? I said the same thing when i first saw them 5 months ago. Every time i see one i like it more and more... And I hate myself for it.. cuz it's DAMN UGLY! but i'll probably end up getting one before long! p.s. I tried one on a few weeks ago.. and it looks peculiarly good on my wrist
tonio_fr Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 So am I correct in thinking there is no fix for the 4th gen clasp issue? For instance, Amptor, does the clasp just pop open on your watch without warning whilst wearing? Thanks Just replace it with a better bracelet or buy a gen one. Easy fix, only a question of $$$
bonecollector Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Just replace it with a better bracelet or buy a gen one. Might as well get a gen PO with it, too.
Stefanp67 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 The 42 mm po is much more wearable than a ploprof, surely that should make it more marketable? Please watchmakers supply the demand! Yes please rep guys, make a UPO 42mm, i think they will sell big time.
HMSS013 Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Finally! I never did care for the 45mm version. Lets hope they get it right. werd... the 42 has been a long standing rep for good reason... i've bought two myself.
wiesn089 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Where the **** is this thing? I don't get it, seriously, the PO is the best selling Omega by far, I can't believe they are willing to miss out on this one, there's no way Asians are sporting 45mm...
danza1812 Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Still waiting no news for months now........
kuli Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Looks like they finally released this. Just checked Josh's site and I see an unlabelled watch that looks like a 42mm PO. Browsing from my phone so not sure.
kbh Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Hope this isn't what you've been waiting for. The HE valve is still in the wrong place and it doesn't have the correct coin edge bezel for a 42mm.
www_watch Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Just checked Josh's site and I see an unlabelled watch that looks like a 42mm PO. It isn't. But at least it's a 45mm without the "happy feet feature".
danza1812 Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 I'm feeling rather pleased with myself after just landing an unused 4th gen PO today which I plan ro mid. I gave up waiting for this next generation PO.

Craig S Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Hi all, Just noticed that Joshua has a new 42mm PO on his website. Looks to have improvements over 4th gen (anti counterfeit markings on case back, no happy feet, better AR). Could this be the long awaited new 42mm PO made from gen?
kramerica2 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 Indeed it is. take a look at the post just below this one (at time of posting):
