If you had to narrow it down to to put into a 4 watch traveler: What would you choose if you had to have one in each of the following categories?

1) Chrono

2) Dressy Hand Wind

3) Sporty automatic

4) Quartz for outdoor activity

5) MISC FAVE - ANY CATEGORY - You could actually wear this one and keep the other 4 in a travel case....ha!

For me it would be:

1 - Chrono = Breitling Skyland

2 - Dressy Hand Wind = Omega Railmaster

3 - Sporty automatic = Omega Planet Ocean/Breitling Steelfish

3 - Quartz for outdoor activity = Tag Hauer SLR Quartz on rubber straps

These are the watches I travel with the most, but I usually take just two.

1) Chrono----Chopard Mille Miglia or Breitling Evo

2) Dressy Hand Wind-- Evo or AP Royal Oak or VC Overseas

3) Sporty automatic-- Omega Seamaster GMT or Planet Ocean

For me, it would be:

1) Chrono - Panda dial pre-Daytona or Ebel Discovery 1911

2) Dressy Hand Wind - Not a handwinder, but I'd choose a DateJust 'stick dial' on a leather strap or Glashutte Original Classic with silver dial on a leather strap

3) Sporty automatic - YachtMaster or UN Maxi Marine Diver 1846 with Rhodium dial

4) Quartz for outdoor activity - Suunto Vector

5) MISC FAVE - ANY CATEGORY - 6200 Submariner :victory:

Posted (edited)

1) Chrono - tie: IWC 3717 and Ebel 1911 Discovery

2) Dressy Hand Wind - IWC Portugieser or FA Jones (same basic watch, two different looks)

3) Sporty automatic - any BK/WM9 Sub (in my case the LV)

4) Quartz for outdoor activity - I don't own any quartz watches, so off pictures and reviews only, the Ebel 1911 BTR Quartz or Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono

5) MISC FAVE - ANY CATEGORY - PAM 063

Wow, you folks are more sophisticated than me. I separate my watches into big (43-46), really big (47 - ???) and little at 42 or less. and that is about it. But for instance I am away from home for 2 weeks right now and could only bring 3 watches a 40mm, a 44mm and a 47mm with one on bracelet for swimming purposes.
