torresp
I originally started with a DW case that wouldn't fit the movement (kind of a status quo issue with that case). I was going to press on with having the DW shell modified by jmb to fit the V72, but decided to opt for the Phong case instead (with some friendly persuasion from Mr. Torres). You did it right mate and nothing can beat those old-schools daytonas... Mine says hello

gplracer
Outstanding! I love my 7750 version but I would love to have a v72 version one day. With the way prices are going up I might sell my 7734 movement and look for a v72.

By-Tor
Crazy. Your projects are amazing. I thought that gen vintage Daytona dials were pretty much impossible to source. Apparently not. Congrats!
P4GTR
Yah, the dial source remains a mystery for now, eh? I really don't know what to say about the watch, being that it's pretty obvious how incredible it is. I can't believe how nonchalant you can be about your pieces. You're too cool for school Ubi. valerian
That is so beautiful! Congrats, Ubi! I'd love a Daytona but I'm definitely no modding artist and the OBO models are all so flawed. Val.
rolexmaniac88
So, can anyone (aside from chieftang) figure out the significance of the custom serial I had engraved? I'd say birth dates for kids and wife, similar to the engraving you got for your 5514! Gotta check though! Hold on
