Broker1981 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Hi! I saw an episode of Hell's Kitchen today, and other than it occurring to me that they REALLY need to do a better job selecting candidates, I also noticed Gordon Ramsey's watch. I am thinking Breitling mysef, but then again i've been known to be wrong... All answers are much appreciated!
btocamelo Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 It's definitely NOT the Breitling Longitude, cause the subdials are arranged wrong....only old Breitling that had the subdials in that orientation was the smaller Breiting Chrono Cockpit but I doubt it's either one...unless someone can get a close up
Broker1981 Posted September 23, 2010 Author Report Posted September 23, 2010 Once again, a cheap quartz. It's kinda strange though... I mean, this guy is known for his taste for luxery. And with his media exposure, he is no doubt the most famous chef in the world, it shouldn't be a problem to get some freebees from the manufacturers. I love the yellow dial.
btocamelo Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Breitling Chronomat Longitude made a special edition yellow dial with black subdials....it has a 24hr GMT hand as well...but the chrono subdial orientation is 6-9-12...real nice watch on the pilot bracelet or rubber breitling strap.
maxman Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Once again, a cheap quartz. +1 but maybe best suited for the kitchen
jchurch Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Looked like a Breitling on my television but I am no good with models.
browngo1 Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 It looks like one of these. A Breitling, but not sure exactly which model:
XM195 Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) I've been watching MCH US Season 8 episode 6 and noticed nice Rollie on Gordon's wrist with Nato strap (I guess)Video if you're bored :) 2:48 Some sources say that he bought vintage submariner from 50's. But I have no idea what model that is. It looks great! Any info on that piece? What model is this? Is this 5513 or 5512? Edited October 17, 2017 by XM195 1
capre Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 Hard to tell by the video. My guess would be faded insert on a 5512 or 5513 with 2-liner service dial and hands since it looks to be very white lume dots and hands.
Nanuq Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 If it's a vintage Submariner from the 50s, then it's a 6538 or 6536. Low profile and no crown guards. 2

bobandshawn Posted October 18, 2017 Report Posted October 18, 2017 He's worn Raymond Weil in the past (yellow dial)...not sure what this is. B 1
highoeyazmuhudee Posted October 18, 2017 Report Posted October 18, 2017 i've seen him wearing a 1966 5512 recently. In the past on most of his shows i've seen him wearing a yellow dial Qakley
