ubiquitous
Been rather busy these past few days, but had a chance to put this long term project together for a friend. This has been on the drawing board for months... Availability of the case/dial/hands helped this one come to light a little sooner than I thought. There's still a few other details to be hashed out, but here's the rough draft... This should look good paired to say... A certain member's 5517, I think? ubiquitous
Thanks, gang I hope the new owner likes this one! I've not had a lot of time to do projects for people (let alone myself), but this one was one I promised to my friend many, many months back. Better late than never, I suppose? dadog13
Is this a real Tudor 7734 movement or...only bridged? I believe it is this one : http://www.jewelryandwatch.com/eCatalog/Ecatalog3.htm quiet expensive at 350USD.. Ubi, you've built again a beauty! the owner is definitely one lucky guy... I am adding this one to my collection really soon...I am thinking on putting mine on a leather strap (who knows how it will look like?!)
ubiquitous
Ahhh... The movement came from my old 7032, which had the bridge already fitted. The movement was my gift to the new owner to help get his project going dadog- You may want to pick up both a strap and a bracelet! The MC is a great piece on either, but the different combinations will each lend to a very unique and different appearance to the watch. Always nice for a change! Thanks again for the kind words! Much appreciated! Cheers and best, //ubi

modelizer
380s might be tough to find. But I'll keep an eye out for you guys Thanks ubi.. Yep, they seem pretty hard to get hold of.. I'm keeping my eyes open for a pair of 589's as well which should also do the trick on the 7032..
rosnik
Thank you UBI, and thank you for all the great TIP and suggestion you kindly always get me for my projects. About endlink , the use of 503B is totally wrong? The 358 E.L. delivered with Mary's bracelet is really little and do not fit right.
ubiquitous
589s are tough to find too! rosnik- Before I swapped in my 589s on my old 7032, I did have a set of rep 503Bs that were more similar to a 580; I spread the link open a bit and it fit my case pretty well for a temporary fix: However, the gen 503B is an end link intended for the 78390 bracelet on a 16520; polished midlinks and no underside tabs. modelizer
589s are tough to find too! Very true.. But two rare options are better than one! rosnik- Before I swapped in my 589s on my old 7032, I did have a set of rep 503Bs that were more similar to a 580; I spread the link open a bit and it fit my case pretty well for a temporary fix: That looks very good for being a temporary fix! Which gives us 2,5 options!
LeSentier
Guys, isn't this price a little bit tough? http://cgi.ebay.at/Tudor-Rolex-380-B-end-pieces-/170550406681?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b598ae19#ht_500wt_922 How much to pay normally for 380 EL's?
