cib0rgman
I juts got this in I am thinking on sending to The Zigmeister for relume or maybe I should leave it alone. What do you guys think?
TeeJay
If you want it to glow, send it to the Spa, if glow is not essential... Nice acquisition
freddy333
Ditto TeeJay (noting that a 40+ year old tritium dial that glows is a give-away of fakery), but are you aware of the missing paint at 7 o'clock?
TeeJay
The missing paint @ seven should be an easy fix. In the past, I've used the edge of a piece of paper dabbed in paint, as a way to apply a straight line Might the rehaut overlap the edge of the dial enough to mask the missing paint? Ronin
Here was my / same dial from Ingod dropped into a MBW 1st Gen 1665 Case. Leave it alone...
Ephry73
Plus one to all above. Leave it alone. Looks good. I wish my gen dial was a rail one . E

phillycheez
Wow. That sounds like a killer build. Excited to see how it turns out. If you want to lume it I don't see why somebody would call it a fake. This could just be a transition dial that Rolex re-lumed. woof*
I have the same dial from Ingod being put in the same case as Ronin's. Too bad about the missing paint, but I'm sure it will be an easy fix. Ronin..that watch is really nice!
Tiyal
Lume it! make it GLOW!!!!!!!!! Its your watch its your dial, and when you fight in the shade it will be bright!
modelizer
Love the rail dials! I had the markers on mine Bergeon lumed in light ivory colour (almost white) along with the hands. Perfect glow for a "vintage" tool watch IMHO as it's not as bright as super luminova. I'm very happy with the result!
cib0rgman
working with Gen specs parts is a breeze I replaced the dial like in 20 minutes, no glue, no date missaligment, fits like a glow, the only thing that bother me a little is the Superdome is from Clarks.. freddy333
Clark's Superdome is probably the best option since NOS gens are now 25+ years old &, therefore, can no longer be relied on for waterproofness. Looks good.
cib0rgman
Thanks Freddy, Also the hands that i have are vintage so the hands do not match the color; I used a Rolex movement is so easy to work on this watch

I am still thinking about it, I probably will send it The Zigmeister for a relume, definitely is worth doing but of course not too bright is what it needs
