Most anticipated reps of 2012?

Some recent developments late from '11 and early '12 models unveiled at Basel, make it look as if mesh bracelets may make a comeback...

Breitling Transocean with mesh bracelet.

or

The new IWC Portofino with Milanese bracelet.

Wishful thinking that both would be 7750 driven.

Ah the 7ron watch! Well they sort of made it ...

http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2011/10/tron-inspired-watch-finally-makes-it-onto-human-wrists/

Except somehow they took the original concept

http://www.tokyoflash.com/blog/2010/10/tron-inspired-led-watch/

and made it with nasty matt plastic and cheap blue LEDs. No way I would buy that. I still hold out for a more gen looking appearance!

The 7ron watch (concept) is kinda cool, but I definitely think the watch in your avatar is cooler :good: There is something 'kinda similar-ish' available on the Bay... Item number: 220864598971 Not 100%, but definitely 'getting the look' :)

Hopefully they start releasing something that is NOT Panerai or Rolex.

The Sinn replicas came out in 2011? It was kind of surprising! :) Maybe Tutima is next year! Would love a Tutima military or a Jaeger le Coultre Reverso!

There are some quite nice Longines and Rado replicas out there.. if you want to step off the beaten track.

I totally agree on this Seamaster! It has screw links in the bracelet. Only reason why I haven't purchased an Omega yet. I want one with bracelet, but hate the pin bracelets on current range.
