Justasgood
Of course they don't help improve anything. In fact, they are detrimental to a reliable movement. Who says the Chinese have no quality control: I am sure I will find more when I tear it down for a service. FYI, I tried to fit a genuine winding plate.....no go. Tried to swap the rotor......no good. It seems that all they did was create a visual copy. Longevity............we'll see.

Hold on now......I will say that it winds wonderfully and it has been regulated to +4secs/day. BTW, did you see the caseback engraving? Overall I think that once serviced, this will be the story of 2012....stay tuned

Justasgood
Looking good on your wrist mate.. Are you planning to service the movement yourself? I think they fell in from the assembler. The movement is complete and running quite well. Yes I will service it soon. I think the jewels fell in during assembly and QC. baglc1
Is the case back made out of some new material STANLESS STEEL, i bet Stan's not to happy.
RWG Technical
I believe there is a new trend to make these watches more self sufficient, therefore just like your car carrying a spare tire, the movements now come with spare jewels, just in case you have a blown out jewel away from home and need a quick repair... Like Panasonic, the Chinese are slightly ahead of our time. At least it wasn't a pube like I found a while back, yeach!
Justasgood
Is the case back made out of some new material STANLESS STEEL, i bet Stan's not to happy. LOL!!!! It is spelled correctly, just the angle making the "I" disappear.

As for the.....um, pube.........we aren't that close yet. Perhaps when I "Open her up" and "strip her down" I will get my reward

chefcook
after already having cleaned and oiled my SA3135 I cannot complain. It is easy to work on, well made... Of course it is no genuine 3135 in terms of quality, e.g. the rotor on my SA3135 was very slightly bent causing it to rub against the balance protector (the little screw-on bridge that protects the balance... ) but nothing that was not fixable. I like it a lot so far and I am already thinking of building another franken watch using a SA3135. Maybe a 36mm Datejust or a 34mm Date...

There is an I there, close alongside the N. I have a steel Sub case back that has an 750 18k gold stamp on it.

Jkay
I get the feeling that people who complain about Kello are trying to time their watch with the caseback still fixed in place. $9 does not buy you a time-o-grapher .. you have to work a little!
