alligoat Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Looks like a gen insert w/ a chunk missing at 10! Gen crown and tube also? Rep.
w.genzo Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 TW case with TC v3 bracelet dial and v2 dwo.. my thoughts..
dropbear2008 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 TW case with TC v3 bracelet dial and v2 dwo.. my thoughts.. Yep, only gen pieces I would say is insert and maybe crown/tube
Inertiadrifter Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 Boy you guys are good!! It's a TC Sub IV with gen used insert and gen crown. Still waiting for my gen crystal and Gen Dial. I have the gen tube but I read it's a perfect fit TC tube and GEn crown. Indeed it is. Thanks for participating.
deokhoon jun Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Most noticiable difference is the bezel teeth i think. Exchange bezel first than dial or others.
Inertiadrifter Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 Most noticiable difference is the bezel teeth i think. Exchange bezel first than dial or others. I have a gen bezel, but I need a gen retaining ring or an aftermarket that would take a gen bezel. I also have a brand new gen insert that ill put with the bezel. I had to shave part of the insert to make it fit the TC bezel,

Watchmeister Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Did you redo the CG's or do they come like that from TC?
Inertiadrifter Posted September 2, 2012 Author Report Posted September 2, 2012 Did you redo the CG's or do they come like that from TC? Cg came that way when I bought this from here. Why?
w.genzo Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 agree, that's why it looked a TW case to me
fredfree Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 They are very pointy. agree on that...CG look strange to me as well...
Inertiadrifter Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 Wow!! It was sold to me as a TC SUB ver IV I'm gonna take some pics and post it. To make sure.
w.genzo Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 I mean, they are not wrong as Rolex changed the shape over the years. But TC's cas has different CG even if the lugs look TC's. Just as an example, pointed CG from a 2003 Sub:
Inertiadrifter Posted September 5, 2012 Author Report Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) Ok. I took a couple of shots of the CG: Hopefully this helps on deciding if this is TC case or TW case. I would love to know, so I don't misrepresent my watch. Thanks again Edited September 5, 2012 by Inertiadrifter
