davylloyd Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 To all you guys on the east coast of the U.S., I hope the media is over-hyping this situation. Whether it is or not, though, please don't treat it too lightly, keep you and yours safe. It may not always be obvious, but your cousins this side of the pond do actually care!
browngo1 Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 It may not always be obvious, but your cousins this side of the pond do actually care! Ditto! Stay safe everyone.

Dave123 Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 Dunno how many twitter accounts have posted that pic. A bit overhyped, this storm, cnn couldnt wait to yell one dude has died. While i live protected by the great canadian shield, imagine if we lived in countries that have true disasters, but no media hype.
Nanuq Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 Speaking of no media hype, here's a little storm we had last winter. It's truly gnarly when you're off the bottom of the wind chill charts. Stay inside and stay warm boys.
Mike on a bike Posted October 30, 2012 Report Posted October 30, 2012 Settled down to drinking & hanging out, wind still blowing like hell. Would not drink till after time came set up generator. Gas it up before I hit the sack, family all snug in their beds. Scotch IS GOOD.
