vlydog Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) The clear winner in my collection is the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. Edited January 13, 2013 by vlydog
icoopernicus Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Consistently better than a couple of seconds per day and after a week is never more than a handful of seconds off of the atomic clock. I have some reps that keep great time, I have some swiss ETA Valjoux watches that keep great time, but nothing has been as consistent as my $100 Invicta Pro Diver. This watch uses the Seiko sourced NH35A movement at 21,600bph.
asciwhite Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Seiko Kinetic diver..... 1 sec slow a month... But I don`t use it much. I love the mechanical pieces
Mike on a bike Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 iCoopernicus just saw one those brand new TT version same movement almost scooped it up ($100), that is a underrated watch due to the Invicta stigma.
Mike on a bike Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Like the Seiko White how big is it? As for me no idea no need or desire to know, switch out so much really doesn't matter.
asciwhite Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Like the Seiko White how big is it? As for me no idea no need or desire to know, switch out so much really doesn't matter. Here is the specs
Mike on a bike Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 45 just right height dependent, have some 20mm thick ones that even I find a bit to big. But a Seiko unless it is the monster. Well just did a search 15mm, should wear well about 235 USD here though that was a quick search , yet another to put on the list!
icoopernicus Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 Hey mike, I've got one in blue, same movement but not quite as accurate. I can't say it enough, this thing is incredible bang for the buck!
TeeJay Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 The best time keeper in my collection is my Tudor Heritage Chrono, closely followed by the Plastique Noir Submariner. Both run on quartz
panerai153 Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Of my genuine watches, the best is my MKII Kingston non date. Of my Reps, the best is my GMT 11C
Noel Fleischer Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Bulova Precisionist - 10/sec year. Among the reps, older Rolex YM and Subs with ETA mov't.
DeeCee Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 I would have to saw my Deville hour vision gen keeps the best time. Co-Axial 8500 movement has been running for the last four days at +-0 per day.
Nanuq Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 My best piece is a Snowflake that JustAsGood cleaned and regulated. All my others are within a minute over several days, but the JAGflake is spot on.
TheRefinedSon Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Does it need to be a mechanical movement?
Mike on a bike Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 "Does it need to be a mechanical movement?" well some posted quartz but they will almost always kick a mechs a**.
Mike on a bike Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Wow Doc that is one colorful watch!
sgtguk Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) Mines a Gen Smp Quartz, every time I reset one of the others I always seem to look at this one to do it out of my reps gotta say my TC Sub is hard to beat.. Edited January 14, 2013 by sgtguk
Ephry73 Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 All of my watches keep great time. The G-Shock 5600 of course beats them all
Jkay Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 My best is the Zig-blessed Great White @ +2 seconds a day. I have others that run this well, but they have all been regulated. They don't arrive from the dealer this way. Look at this beautiful lug shoulder he did on this case. YUM. Before anyone mentions it, NO the lug holes were not beveled. The case has simply been polished, wearing on the lug holes.
kubla Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) My nixie watch. Plus, I get more comments with this watch than any other. Here's a video from YouTube: Edited January 14, 2013 by kubla
HartDoc Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Wow Doc that is one colorful watch! That a very collectable dee and ricky. They are selling for up to $1900 on fleabay. Don't believe me check this link
icoopernicus Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 I didn't know this was a quartz party! My Citizen Skyhawk calibrates itself to the atomic clock every night and has always been +- 0.0sec over the 4 years that I have owned the watch. A friend of mine also owns one and without fail, whenever we get them together, they tick in perfect and absolute harmony.
astonjenks Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 My PAM 187G Submersible has not lost a second since recieving it three weeks ago which must rank right up there! Astonjenks
hiker01 Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 I can't believe this myself, the A7750 on this Clapton, unserviced OTB has been on the dot.....as long as you wind it 20turns every night: 2nd is my Corum AC:
