kramerica2
Sells as a gen, supposed to be from the 80s:
panerai153
Nice rep. Crown too big. Looks like a 6mm, should be 5.3.
kramerica2
Are you sure about that? The owner seems like an honest man, and the asking price is reasonable for a gen. Do you see the difference between this watch and the watch over @chrono24? http://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/gmt-master-2tone-black-nipple-dial-16753--id2203106.htm?manufacturerIds=221&picnum=0&referenceNumber=16753%24221&tab=pics&urlSubpath=%2Frolex%2Fref-16753.htm Thanks a lot.. lionsandtigers
hmm, pretty sure thats gen
kramerica2
It's probably gen, I gave the seller an offer that was only 100$ less than what he asked for and he said thanks, but no thanks. If it was a rep, he wouldn't have turned it down. It's still more than a reasonable price for that piece.
panerai153
I will defer to you guys. For sure If he turned down an offer that close to the asking price, pretty sure it's real
Nanuq
Here's a picture of my 1675 from approximately the same angle as the first photo, so you can compare the crowns.
JoeyB
I think it is a genuine 16753. Correct hand stack for that model, 1st model to have the current hand stack. And 6mm crown would be correct too.
irolexu
That's a gen if I've ever seen one.
gavidoc
Nice rep. Crown too big. Looks like a 6mm, should be 5.3. Be careful only using a crown as judgement. It is possible to have a 6mm on a 16750 without modification to the crown guard opening. Looks real to me. imajedi
Why not just get a picture of the movement. At least then you know you're getting a gen movement.
alligoat
I'm with Joey on this- correct hand stack for a 16753, it's a gen
HartDoc
I say open the back and look at the movement ask also for the serial number to make sure the years match.

devilseam
Looks gen, I had a 16713 a couple of years ago. As others have said the hand stack is correct.
