gillorin
that GP Seahawk would be freakin awesome. If they make another Rolex out of all this, I am going to kill myself.
Guest 123
What about a Rolex 16800 - Gotta love that cream! Parts are easy to make or already exist. Only real new part would be a good case. So low cost and easy set up. I'm with dutchy on this one....Ill take a few of these. Love it!
By-Tor
I would love to see the 7750-based reps of this (Zenith El Primero Flyback Rainbow): And the Ebel 1911 BTR (okay the complication on the first one isn't realistic): GMT: The bracelet plain chrono version (would be easy to do, technically): (see the movie): http://www.ebel.com/1911BTR/BTR_English.html
fotoman
your dream is not realistic Ok, make it a faux stopwatch and it has a faux power reserve it will still kick ass- -the only hard part is the movement exposure how hard is that really? fotoman
alright, if we need an affordable simple watch, that isn't already 1:1 then, theoretically it would have somethign other than a regular boring case - Lets go for a 1:1 Frank Muller ............................mont blanc timewalker i like the gmt one ..........my vote.. corum bubble
KB
Unfortunately Pho some of us find the Muller to be a boring case....... Seahawk Ken
flavor flav
if the 7750 chrono was an option.......i must have this!!! EBEL 1911 BTR. with the options given a nice line of aquatimers are the way to go! i've wanted on for a long time now. the seahawk i think is not a very appealing design. a sight for sore eyes
jfischman
I definitely agree with TTK here, a Girard Perregaux in real titanium with power reserve model is definitely one that I would want! I agree...real titanium, of course. Very sweet! JF
flavor flav
Also, as long as I am on the subject of low-hanging fruit (great reps that could be created based on existing models), let's not forget these variations on the IWC Portugese that should be relatively easy to deliver: I have heard a lot of interest in any of these. don't these already exist??? flavor flav
my vote is this one. SS and titanium bracelet and rubber both versions.with heavy double side AR and can release the chrono versions later to keep draining our wallet
robertk
I agree about the GP Seahawk. Once you see the Gen you know how classy it is. Second choice: Zenith El Primero, a spectacular watch.

Richard Tracy
Wow ! Some fantastic submissions.... Any suggestions on how long we should wait before we poll ? I don't want to miss anyone's ideas, and not sure how many of our members are missing today...or how frequent most of us sign in. I think however that it would be a great idea if we selected a watch that we could later upgrade into a chrono.... always a good idea to look ahead. As for the numbers,... We will be acting as gage for a popular release, that Jay will not only make available to us, but to his other non-forum clients as well,..so though we are under no pressure for numbers, if we were to get a decent amount, we could group buy the price down as usual. Ken is right, that in this case 50 would be a starting point, however I don't think it will be a problem if we select the right watch,... Then, who knows,.. this may be just the start of a new era for us. Also on a side note,... Eddie is creating a surprise Chrono for us that is bound to get some people pretty excited,.... Expect his release in about three weeks,.. He will also accept a group buy for it....
uziuzi
Chronoswiss Kairos is available by silix this watch comes in next days... on all dealers... what is the problem on this watch? Please be patient... Are you serious this watch coming in the next days ??? Ihope you are...
Pugwash
what is the problem?... simple valjoux 7750... i have 50 on stock You really didn't read it, did you.
minuterepeater
Why not a better quality royal oak?? Or any decent AP not based on a 7750.
ryaku
this watch comes in next days... on all dealers... what is the problem on this watch? Please be patient... I wish you were right but i wonder how could you be so sure? How do you know that? I'm pretty sure won't be the ceramic model.... However no doubt that's the most desired chrono watch, with the Iwc aquatimer, in here. It would be a biig success (but we all know it has a different movement from the ones we can use here)

If this new system of "a la carte" works, there will be new times in the rep world. It will be really good for us, for the dealers and for the factories, that will have a direct link to their customers...

AMK000
Tens and Hunderds of options here. @ Richard: If you keep this thread alive for 2-3 more weeks , we will have almost 95% of all the watch brands and models in the market. I still believe that if Jay (btw , I am asking again , who's Hay ??) does not limit our options to something more specific we are ...... pissing against the wind. We gonna end up with watches that cannot be made for one reason or another (case , bezel , band etc...), hard to find , too expensive to buy, CHN rep makers are also planning to make them soon, etc..... so many many reasons. Any way .... even though I like many of the watches shown here and I will propably buy them if they ever make them (I doubt that most of them can be made) ...... here are my options: 1) 2) 3) In any case I will wait for the final pool and I will vote then. BTW: Are we going to see a prototype before we place the final order ??? Will Jay agree to that ???
r11co
My 2p's worth. A decent Oris TT1 Divers Titan. 2824 movement. Simple variation on a theme. Not stratospherically priced either. Plus meets the extended criteria for an upgrade to a chrono, using 7750 with standard subdial layout.

CY0811
Actually let me change my opinion: These characteristics would have to be met for me to guarantee a buy spot: Something big 42mm+ (hopefully 44mm+). Something "1:1" (The closer the better, I hate easily spotted flaws). Something thats not a Rolex or Pam.
