swdivad Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I don't know about you guys, but I've always had a really bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Invicta.... I just never liked their watches (much), but always have disliked them as a company... I don't know if the quality is great or so so, but *to me* this watch is a thing of beauty, and very original in design and use of materials. Here is the Invicta Sapphire Ghost 2701: Here's the schpiel: Invicta Article What do you guys think?
dadog13 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 one of the uglyest watches i have ever seen!
Guest TTK Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Sorry...David.....lay off the Jacob's Creek........huh....!
r11co Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 What is there not to like?! Ticks all the boxes for the objective types who 'need' Swiss movements, and utterly unique in style and concept (sapphire crystal retainer is a fantastic idea - the sillhouette shot is stunning). I love it.....
KB Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I think I'm gunna be sick Sorry not my cup of tea. Ken
rmcsherry Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 It looks like a Richard Mille designed by a Chinese businessman
MAHLER Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 one of the uglyest watches i have ever seen! for me this is the first ....
chris5264 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I had this one for a while. IMO, it looks very cool in person but I thought the case felt cheap, the lugs are only held on with a screw and just never felt right. Also, you can’t wind it at all. The crown is perfectly smooth, so unless you have the rubber gloves on you have to wear it all the time.
tallguy83 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Very cool concept! The design needs a bit of tweaking, but I'd buy one.

To me, it looks really good and it uses a real sapphire insert to hold the movement... Pretty innovative Too bad the [censored]tards just can't get it right and they come out with another el-cheapo piece of kaka. I'lll go back in my hole now, slap myself a few times, and let my instincts drive me
slay Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I think I'm gunna be sick Sorry not my cup of tea. Ken Full ack!
V Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Nope.. don't like it either... From the photo looks cheap
Canuck88 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Neat that it's see-thru, but I wouldn't wear it And my invicta watch has served me well since day 1... +5 sec/day, and I wear it in the ocean
tech Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I just barfed on my keyboard whilst trying to enjoy my Nespresso...

tvt Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 You know, I am not sure it works 100% and I honestly do not know if I like it more than I dislike it, but I give them BIG credit for some unique thinking. If this had a little better fit and finish (and a different name on it) I think a lot of people would flip for it. It's nice to see them do ing something other than just ripping off classic (or trendy) designs. For that alone I give it a thumbs up.
OiRogers Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Interesting idea... not an all together ugly watch to me at all... but then I looked at the price list on the Invicta site... 3600usd for an Invicta?... pass. And I'm just going to guess that no Invicta will ever be "repped".
