ogladio
Lovely! Very impressed and envious by the fact that you now virtually can do any gilt dial you want - just like that. Thanks for sharing!
Bart Cordell
@ogladio Thanks ! You're right all gilt dials can be made. It's a long work to draw, test print, adjust, apply the coats of varnish, lume. Wait hours for dry before next stage. I remade this dial five time before this result. And I'm not fully satisfied. A 6538 for a friend maybe seven... But it's worth.
blue.
Amazing 5500. Congratulations!
Sogeha
That is stunning. I know what I thought when you first started a thread on home printed dials. If I had posted my thoughts I would look pretty stupid now. The results are fantastic.
Bart Cordell
@Sogeha haha ! Thanks. Let me know your thought please. I was not convinced to achieve this result too...

Champagnesky
Fantastic!!! Btw, hasRuyi started selling rivet bracelets? How are they?
Mendota Explorer
^ Riyi has always sold rivets. I haven't bought one, but other members have said they are pretty decent. Nothing like the older versions that Yuki used to sell, but better than the garbage that comes on the Silix. I've read that Riyi's jubilee is very good quality. alligoat
I just wish I could get Riyi to sell me a bracelet with the Rolex logo on it!
Bart Cordell
@alligoat I'm not an expert but I think Riyi rivet is very nice for the price. 35$ shipped. And contact with him is very good too. For this build, I asked him a vintage 19mm rivet 7205 bracelet for a Rolex 5500 watch. He reply with this pic : Just ordered a 20mm today. riyi002@sina.com

Sogeha
You have a lot of time and effort invested in it. I find that makes a watch more significant to me than a bought one, even a gen vintage Rolex.
Timelord
I am absolutely speechless!!. No words come close to praising this.!! a home printed dial! I would never have guessed it!,, next time you may want to create a review/ tutorial with some pictures showing at each stage up-to the final development as not many people have ever seen a watch dial being printed. It would be the only known web page in the world that would show how a dial would have been made in a traditional manner!!! i salute you!!!!
