eychenne
I would like to buy a dress watch with a large size (around 40mm). According to you what is the best dress watch today? Best regards Christophe
Usil
That is really impossible to say and highly personal according to taste. Browse the collectors area and see what you like. Others here will tell you what they like. I just bought a Breitling Bentley GT Two Tone and I think this is a nice dress watch. Browse around. KB
There is far to many to list but just a tip for you ask TTK (one of the collectors) to show you his Omega Deville, it will blow you away. Ken

Kollektor
Cartier Santos 100 Chrono. Classic elegance. The Chrono wears VERY large. I would say the Santos 100 since he's looking for a smaller size.
By-Tor
I'm not a PAM fan (generally). But that gold PAM looks really nice. I also like Clive's Vacheron. TT Navi was the nicest gold rep I've owned.
FxrAndy
How about the railmaster here or the gold special edition railmaster here. (on the last link you will have to look a bit to find it)
Pix
Hi, for me, a dressy watch has rather a leather strap (although my Overseas has a SS bracelets..) It has no chrono. Vacheron Constantin, Philippe Patek and Breguet are typically the kinds of brands you can have a look into. Personnally I have found a lot of watches I love in the Vacheron Constantin yard. Two examples : But what do you mean by "the best" ? The most accurate ? The most reliable ? The VC Overseas is known to be very well repped (be carefull, there are several versions) and has an ETA movement.

Golfman
depends of lot of things : Sub is dressy and sport in the same time. you can wear it with a suit for work, and with a jean during week end. FA Jones is more smart IMO Portuguese Chrono, little more sport cause of the chrono, but still dressy
Pix
@ridnwind Here's mine Although it's a chrono I would classify it in the dressy watches, of course.
