Guest TTK Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 t is with great regret that I have to say that Reg's father passed away this morning......it came after a lengthy illness.....was not unexpected......and as far as I know he died in no great pain...he was 79.....one of the last of the old generation.....who knew what hardships were about.....and had the tenacity to live through it all.....! Reg is on his way to Thailand tomorrow morning....circumstances dictated that he was unable to alter his schedule.....he will be out here for a week....and then returning briefly for the funeral.....and then back here.....I am sure at this sad time he would probaly appreciate the brief respite from enquiries that members continue to mail him about.....and he has assured me that he will TCB upon his return.....! I had PMed Reg only this weekend, when he told me of his father's fast deteriorating condition, which shocked me, as losing a parent must be utterly devastating... I am torn between wanting to PM him, but not wanting to overwhelm his Inbox, which his clients may need -- but then I realised that there is no such thing in times like these.
