Nanuq Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 I received the sad news that a dear friend of mine died this last Saturday of a massive stroke. He lived in Seattle area, so I'll be flying there for the weekend. It will be so sad to attend his funeral... he was one in a million. But while I'm there, a fortuitous series of events made it possible that I'll be able to handle and evaluate a certain watch, to see if it's what I think it is. If so, I may be bringing it back home with me. If not, it will still be nice to see friends again, although not in the best of circumstances.
