WOW!!! Everytime Josh and Andrew's name pops up there always seems to be a long debate. I know that Teejay is on a one man campaign to end the A&J cartel. Franky put, I think that Andrew and Joshua's service is exemplarary. People pay what they perceive as a good value. They might not be the cheapest, but who cares. That is why people pay different prices for the same Hi-Def TV set. I have purchased over 40 reps from them in a few short months. I couldn't be more happier. I have also negotiated some great deals as well. THEY WILL NEGOTIATE!! I have had a couple of issues with a few pieces, but they were handled with care and attention. Don't get me wrong, I have listened and monitored some of the comments made pertaining to some of the wording and services provided by A&J and I take them into consideration. I have never once felt "ripped off" buying anything from them. If the service level continues, they have my dedicated patronage. I don't think that there are any vendors as hard working as they are. Answering e-mails back to me at 3AM is unreal. Communication is excellent, and a huge selection to boot. I know that there are a lot of great dealers on these forums and no dealer has had a perfect record when it comes to service and promises. We just have to learn from mistakes and improve. Teejay, I know your intentions are good trying to protect many of the members of these forums, but there are many very satisfied customers that support A&J. If you have bad ass comments, try to keep them to yourself. We have heard them all before.

OK... so the hypotesis of J.. and ...A merging what negative or postive will it have on the Rep. industry as a whole ?there are models or different parts that Joshua has that Andrew doesn't ... does it make good business sense to merge capital?? Makes more sense to me to keep seperate and have items that are exclusive and seperate from each other (??) although small differences in parts and pricing gives the customer the illusion that he is getting what he wants, and wants to pay for the item.. seems like this is going on for a long time already... andrew with the less expensive models in some areas and Johua with the higher end parts (models)..ie.036 .. maybe it's like showing one hand and playing another... rather smart if you ask me.. you want to call it .. bait and switch... goes on all the time... the consumer should realize this and play his hand accordingly

I think this is a practice not only in this business but throughout the world ... it's part of free enterprise .. no one can control it .. as a consumer we either buy or don't buy.

I would propose a permanent resolution to this debate: Let all members of this board, and let all potential purchasers, have a vote. On any given watch by any given dealer they can choose to purchase or not to purchase. They can do so based on style, information, or whatever criteria is important to them. We shall call this election "Capitalism" and let things happen on their own.

P.S.: This issue is complex, because of the emotions it brings out in us as perceived victims of a rigged system. But if you study an industry, you will see that consolidation of power is the next move after the free-for-all which a burgeoning industry has in the beginning. This is true of nearly ALL businesses in countries where there are no government brakes applied on their free market system. This was true of railroads, oil, computers, rep watches, you name it.

The only reason I would be concerned is if Andrew and Joshua were proven to have strong-armed their competitors through violent means. That is clearly beyond any boundaries of a healthy competitive system.

I remember Silix once mentioning something (not about Andrew/Joshua, please do not misunderstand) on the old RWG that we will never fully understand all the implications of the rep watch business. He strongly suggested the use of force was amongst them.

But until proven, I will stick to the chaps who give me the best service, for the best bang for my buck.

I HATE the fact that prices were raised, but that's capitalism. They are providing us with a service. We have other options, hence it's no monopoly.

I couldn't care less how many satisfied customers A&J have, the fact of the matter, is that they are liars, and people need to be made aware of that so they can make up their own minds.

As I pointed out several times, they are not participating in this forum other than to promote themselves, which utterly undermines any kind of 'friendly relationship' people mention. Given the favoring of RepGeek banners, it is pretty clear that they have moved their attentions away from this forum, becuse people are starting to realize the truth about them, and are focussing on another forum.
